Mexico City is one hell of a place to drive, especially something so rare and valuable as a Ferrari, never mind a GTO. Looks like the passenger side door isn't shut properly. What a sighting, though! Thanks for sharing.

Yes Uwe Meissner looked after the car and sourced it for me. I have been dealing with him for 10 years and find him very honest and reliable. He also sold me my Lusso, my GTC, a 275 GTS and two 308s for friends. All were great cars
Congratulations on your new car! The 288 is really nice. I once got a ride in one and it was absolutely great. So far only the F40 could bet it I've met Uwe Meissner a couple of times at his Modena Track Days at the Nürburgring, he's a nice guy. Are you planning to attend this years Modena Track Days? Martin
I just realized that your new car used to live near where I live and it was the first 288 GTO I ever saw. I've seen it a couple of times over the past years. Here are some pics: pic #1: 2004 at a meeting of the local Ferrari dealer - the first time I saw a 288 GTO pic #2: also 2004 on a drive out with the local Ferrari dealer pic #3 & 4: again 2004 during the 25th dealership celebration of the Ferrari dealer Martin Edit: I just saw that I mixed up two cars, the first one is a different one...
