I'm a bit surprised about how slow the 430s are qual 1 http://www.natsoft.com.au/cgi-bin/results.cgi?06/02/2011.MOUN.Q6
What would be a good time in one around Bathurst? Alan's no slow coach so perhaps that's as fast as they go. Maybe gearing perhaps. They are competitive in endurance events overseas.
I wouldn't have a clue. I was just hoping they'd be in with a shot at something...like outright win maybe i was a bit optimistic.
Did I understand correctly that qualifying is worked out by combining the quickest lap of ALL the drivers on the team??
It is seriously HOT at the track at the moment, the ambient is 35C+, so the cars wouldnt have a shot at going quicker... Mr Lester clipped a wall at the top in #37.. so hopefully Mr Searle and Mr Simonsen can take the fight to the front tomorrow, once fixed! The B12 facebook site says that the unofficial time consolidation of all 3 pilots has the Aussie Audi #7 on pole, the Euro Audi #8 in second, and Superbarn Porsche #69 in 3rd.. but no other positions yet.. nor an official announcement.. Strange..
is this it? qual sessions combined http://www.natsoft.com.au/cgi-bin/results.cgi?06/02/2011.MOUN.Q7.Y
No, because it doesnt list individual driver times, only car times. Mr Owen did FTD.. and of the weekend.. but his codrivers werent as quick, so he is in 3rd provisionally. Mr Eddy apparently did an FTD of a 2:18, which is around 9 seconds off his more illustrious codrivers in the Aussie Audi #7... but they still got pole!
