I bought mine from the book-depository in GB at 23,62 £, quick delivery at good price.

I always trying to find the body number from the Urraco at that time I know the number from the last LHD 20560 which had the number 1060-788 but I don't have the number from the last two cars in RHD 20562 and 20570, if someone could help, I need also this number for all the cars that you know. Thanks for your help.

    Hello Olivier,

What are the news about the Islero project? If you find some information about the Urraco in Belgium I'm interresting.
For the Urraco registry there's a lot of problems to well know the production, At the factory they didn't used all the number for the chassis only the peer number was used, but a little of odd number was used, if we take the last chassis number of each model divided by 2 we don't have the product number so some number wasn't used, for the P111 some car shared there number with the P250 other one with P300. With the body number stamped at Bertone we have all the number used, the chassis number don't follow exactly this number but it's not so far, first P250 chassis number 15000 body number 1060-1, late LHD P300 20560 body number 1060-788 so we can be sure that there's a minimum of 788 body the total will be near from that number...

bottom car yellow car...strange there used to be an early blue/blk P250S with the same AVE 059 plate.

the white car...an early P300? when did they revert to the wider intake panel that covers the radiator? ive notice possibly 2 versions of this panel on the later P111, P200 and P300 cars which the early cars didnt have. are the radiators mounted differently on these cars over the P250 cars or is it just a bigger opening?

    regards

First car is #20504 at SpaItalia in 2008

Black with red interior is #20260 also at SpaItalia 2008

For the white one I've no idea, do you have any more information about the car? When was the picture taken?

Yellow car is #20558 at a meeting in Flanders in 2004, the owner has also a blue P250 (#15412) with the same registration.

Thanks Kevin for all the information, I have some information about cars ans I have also some photo and hard to make arelation between them, I have no photo from the early P250 with registration AVE 059, abour the early P300 white it was adveted in a magazine some years ago, I saw the yellow P"àà in an adevert some years ago and I founs some photo on the web last years have you see that this car had no side repeater?
HF, there's two different front bonnet for the Urraco the early one with two slates for the P250 and the later one with six slates that is fitted on the late P250, P111, P200 ans all P300.
Raymond, I have no more information about this P250, I found the same information on the web.

PM me with your email ill send u pics of AVE 059 in P250S guise if you like.

Im not talking about the upper bonnet but the lower fiberglass part that covers the intake to the radiator duct. ive seen 2 versions for the 3 liter cars and a couple of P300 without any lower cover much like the earlier chrome bumper P250 cars

    regards

The first Urraco I saw in the flesh was at Vinitaly, the worlds largest wine fair, in Verona, Italy in the late seventies. As I walked to the various booths I spied a car parked as part of the display. I was able to meet Mr. Lamborghini and taste his wines, which were simple but enjoyable.

He told me (through his daughter interpreting) that, without asking for government approval, he personally bulldozed hundreds of trees to create his vineyard. When officials tried to take him to task, he commented 'sometimes it's better to ask forgiveness than permission'.

According to the factory website, ILR, lambocars and many other sources 520 P250 were produced. The P250 had 15xxx series chassis numbers running from 15000 to 15998. Assuming that only even numbers were used this is 500 cars. This should mean that the 21 P111 are included in the 520 total. According to ILR 10 P111 have 20xxx series chassis numbers. This leaves 510 P250/P111 with 15xxx chassis numbers. How is this possible when only 500 chassis numbers were available?

Are there any P250 known with a VIN which doesn’t start with 15xxx ?

Are there any P250 known with an odd number VIN ? #15263 and #15689 are in my records but no hard proof about this.

Where does the number of 21 P111 come from and are they indeed included in the P250 production figure ?

Is there any difference between P111 with a chassis number starting with 15xxx and P111 with as chassis number starting with 20xxx ?

    Hallo,

I know that an Urraco #15001 was built to test the mods that had been introduced with the "S" version, so it was the first "Urraco S ever built".

I know there is a factory Urraco chassis number registry, containing informations about each production car, but up to know I wasn't able to give a look at it. It should be my greatest desire to be able to get it, ...even only for personal use.

I do not know why this archive cannot be released or published by Lamborghini, and I do not know what kind of interests are involved with.

By studying this registry carefully, merging the chassis numbers with a number of cars still alive (with detailed pictures), a really amazing Urraco's production history could be written.

Just to give you an example, by comparing availale pictures of #15000, #15006 and #15008, I've just discovered some interesting particulars of early production. It should be great to carry out this research spread over all Urraco's production.

    Regards, Franz
