Hi Martin, thanks for the pics. Do you know which city does the G plate spider belongs to? Understand that A should be for Hangzhou which is capital city for Zhejiang.

    Hi Jon,

yes, A is for Hangzhou in Zhejiang Province. The G is for Jinhua as far as I know. I asked some colleagues about it when I was there and if I remember correct it was for Jinhua. I was also told that some people from Hangzhou register their cars in other cities to safe some taxes. I think I've seen 3 or 4 Ferraris with G plates (more pictures will follow later)

Thanks Martin. That's a fair bit of Ferraris there & I'm surprised to see a 911 since almost all Porsches are Cayennes.

There were quite a few 911. There was a very nice blue 911 Turbo Roadster that I saw a couple of times but somehow I never took a pic of it. But the most common Porsche was realy the Cayenne. There were more Cayennes driving around in Hangzhou then there are here in Stuttgart.
The Problem with Porsche is, that the factory is near where I live here in Gemany and that's why I rarely take pictures of them.

Two years ago the Ferrari dealer told me that there where a bit more then 30 Ferrais in Hangzhou. But as I've seen myself almost 25 F-cars there I would imagine that there are some more. Maybe he wanted to tell me that they sell 30 per year?

it's been a while since my last post, so here are again some more pictures from 2009.

I spotted this 430 Spider in Hangzhou in the Yananlu and as I had a rental bike, I could follow until the next traffic light. Unfortunately the bike was broken afterwards because I drove too fast (Chain went off and because of some protection stuff I couldn't put it back on) :D
