Check with Eric Shea. He rebuilds them professionally (for a lot better price than that ebay ad), so he might have or know where to get cores.

I have all 4 calipers for sale off my 77 GTB. They are in perfect condition. Make me a great offer, I'll consider selling them! I took them off to install race calipers/rotors.

    PM me please,
    Greg in Houston

Yeah Eric is very helpful and I have been emailing him about my search and as soon as I locate a pair I will be having him do the rebuild.

By "WAY too nice" do we take that to mean "WAY too expensive"? Seems these things are scarce as hens' teeth. If you are not doing a "concours" restoration, you might consider one of the after-market alternatives. If you are going for concours or originality, then you might just end up being stuck paying more than you think they are worth to get a nice set.

Yeah that too. I am looking for rebuildable cores. Who makes a good alternative?

It would be very unusual to find 35 year old 1977 take offs in perfect condition.......

That's promising to hear because I would prefer junk calipers that are rebuildable!

I think 90 euros, these are my old rear calipers featured in this thread,
    http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=304911
and in this thread the previous owner of the calipers, who is me, is accused of some nasty things! Hey, they worked flawlessly. I bought a set of 4 Porsche 996TT calipers for 600, never knew I could have bought that set for 1 rebuildable rear 308 caliper.
As always, if you sell parts they are worth nothing, if you need something it costs a fortune.

I also sold my original airco compressor for 20 to a guy with a VW Karmann Ghia, who thought he could use it to better cool his engine...yeah all weird.
