not sure how you guys do the ferrari thing in StL with the weather, but I will grant that you have awesome Italian food, heading to the Hill tonight for a blow-out dinner with my client.

What, you miss the 7 degree temp and 2 inches of ice we still have on the roads b/c MODOT is too cheap to plow and salt properly?

Yeah my event day - which we refer to as snow service this *%^##$$ year cost me a fortune.

Two slip n falls - both already lawyered up and friggin mounds that melt and freeze up every morning.

    St Louis ... uhh yeah

Mother nature owes me a GT3 or I will take some some hail please for new roofs :)

    Amen on the food.

Call me 'predictable', but I would give an arm for a proper Ameghetti's sandwich, some toasted ravs, and a Ted Drewes to finish it off.

I just discovered a "new" white castle the other day....Most excited I have been in a while...there never is one near me..but I just found one on Dorsett @ 270 near CC Lake...I usually don't eat that crap but after a ridiculous rowing workout where you need to pig out..White Castle hits the spot...I look forward to my first pig out there...

not a big fan of Ted Drewes, and White Castle is only good if your BAC is over .20

Agreed on the White Castle, but Ted Drewes is the perfect medication for those 95 degree summer days

A little known fact: did you know that of all his hits, "my ding-a-ling" was his only #1 song? I heard that piece of trivia on the radio on a Friday, went to a trivia night that Saturday, got that question, and out of about 30 tables, only my table and one other one got that question right, :)

One other thing I miss - Carl's, there at big bend and Manchester by Erwin schwarz

Carl's!!! My dad used to deliver fish there, back a billion years ago when he worked for his father.

Haven't been there in ages, but I presume the fishbowl of frozen root beer is still a staple of the experience? Amazing slammed burgers. Drool.

Yep - second best root beer in STL. I ate there a month or two back - still hasn't changed a bit.

Two entrances, with the kitchen in the middle? Banging screen doors?

sigh. I'll need to take Luca there when we visit this summer.
