I'm shocked at how good these radical wheels look! The sharp angles of the spokes echo the nose, vents, & general wedge shape of the car. Not for everyone but they work. Love your color.

Apologies for the delay in responding, but I was out of town over the weekend.

My Gotti wheels have the “Gotti” name at the 10:00 spoke position (see below work-in-progress picture), as well as “J55C” at the 2:00 position.

And, just as a final FYI (and since everyone seems to like looking at pictures of stuff), here’s the previous appearance of my wheels. I had shot blasted the center spider portion to give an intentionally textured appearance, which was intended to serve as a subtle finish contrast as compared to the shiny rim portion.

    Thanks - DM

Nothing against anyones wheels, but if I was to upgrade mine, I would go with Tillman's set-up.

Same thought. Honestly I have never seen a set of aftermarket wheels on a 308 or 328 that I liked better than the originals.

Tillman how does our car behave with all four tyres being the same size - or so you have it with wider rears than fronts?

However, I would like a set of originals...the Gottis are OK and came from the Dealer with them on the Car...the Original owner ordered them with the car.

I still sort of think the original Ferrari wheels look better. Always looking for a deal on a set of originals....Hard to find the Concave wheels, mine is 1986 GTS.

I respect that the Gottis are very popular here, but I never liked them because of the huge bolt holes, of course it may be that the designer intended it that way to make the holes part of the design, but it is not for me.

No longer available Kinesis K27 17-inch rims. Suspension redone (shocks/springs/sways), car lowered and properly corner weighed.

When I got my car the wheels all needed work. My wheel guy said that he had done (paint) a bunch of cars from the San Diego area. I did the same and am happy with the results.

Haha. Yes, I have a spacesaver too, and looks like the same original rubber as yours, too. I'd hate to actually drive on it very far!

actually gotti made two versions. One is the "road" wheel having 16 bolts to attach the rim to the heart. The heart is also i bit smaller. The other version was the race version having 32 bolts for this. The latter ones are lighter to.

I love these kind of wheels as I have a kind of 3-pcs rim fettisch:):):)

I have compo's on the 328, gotti's on the QV and the gtb came with BBS E50
I have another set of gotti's laying around and a set of 15" very wide compomotives.
On the shell i keep my oem 328s and metrics..

He, now i think of it, i'm not a 3-pcs-rim junk but a an-any-rim junk:):)

    Steven,

What is the model # of the Gotti's on your yellow 308?

Is it true that the rubber gasket between the pieces holds air and no sealant is needed?

    Thx...Jim

justed checked Jim. In the wheels is only the number 55C (but i know for a fact that the "street" version has this same number/type on it)
About the gaskets. I personally think the gotti gaskets suck. When i did my wheels i never even bothered to put them back. Instead, after I put them together I sealed the split
with silicon. Never had one leaking after that.

Thanks Steven, that's good to know about the sealant. I'm a big fan of the race Gottis with silver centers. Jim

Racing Baker turned me onto these awhile ago from http://www.norigomme.it/ruote.php they are alot lighter than the michelotto/stratos copies but have the same styling. Just wish I could fit my aftermarketbrakes under them as they are only 15", although been seriously thinking about machining some new centers for my compomotive rims. :)
