who is t pain? let me guess some guy who knows nothing about cars but has the bread right now and is all about ego.
That was a bit uncalled for. Just because he's got money and he's a famous rapper doesn't mean he has a big ego and knows nothing about cars. From what I've seen, he has owned several exotics over the past few years and is definitely a car guy and the Veyron was a way of him celebrating the success he's had over the past few years.
Saw the Veyron again today. Older, white guy driving this time (obviously not T-Pain).......or are there two red and black Veyrons in Roswell?!?!?!? just kidding.....but seriously. On a side note, looks like the first nice day in a while brought out all of the toys.....while driving the '70 LandCrusier, saw a 308 GTB, another old LandCrusier, old Bronco, two F430's, the aforementioned Veyron and tons of Harleys.......THANK THE SWEET, LITTLE, 7 LB 12 OZ BABY JESUS FOR NICE WEATHER!!
'Tis a silly and misinformed statement. Expect to see a lot more exotics coming out of johns creek, it's the 'new money' haven of Atlanta.
Here are some pics from the last couple days. Black Gallardos are sure hard to see at night. Now I know why an owner of a black Ferrari that I know refuses to drive his at night -- people are likely to run into you!
There is a red/black Veyron that lives up the street from me and it is T Pain. This particular street has lots of high dollar stuff tucked away. I would be astonished if there are two on this particular street, but stranger things have happened. The great thing is he drives it, rain and all!!!
I cant speak to the t-pain car but the "old white guy" veyron is definitely in country club of the south. looks like the t-pain car has the red and black swapped opposite of this one. Nice contrast in the "mirror image" colors. It would be a great photo op to get the two cars together!!
Got any pics of that black Carrera GT that's in the background of one of the photos? It's a very nice combo if they are both owned by the same guy.
he has a bunch of stuff. he had 3 cars in the CCS car show last summer. the veyron, the c-gt, and a morgan aero he's somewhat private so I wont mention his name but he is retired as far as I know. If it's ultimate nouveau riche community of the south east, there's a pretty good chance its a bunch of exotic cars.
That's an awesome lineup of cars there and a really nice collection that guy has. Too bad the CCS car show isn't open to the public
there are a ton of exotics, pristine restored classics, etc in the neighborhood. sadly, I seem to be the only one that drives them as daily drivers. I swap between a green murcielago and red 430 that have been spotted on here several times. the car show has traditionally been just vintage cars. this past year was some special anniversary celebration thing and they opened it up to newer stuff of interest. the pics I shot were of us lining up for the parade. I didn't get any of the actual show area where we all parked later.
By the way....meant no disrespect by the "old white guy" comment.....perhaps I should have said "distinguished caucasian gentleman".......I was merely stating that it was easy to tell that it wasn't T-Pain driving as he is a "young black guy"
I took no offense by it and I doubt the owner would either! political correctness has outlived it's usefulness if you ask me. but my rant down that path probably belongs in another thread.
Here's some pics in and around Atlanta within this past week.
