Probably the CNY season. The working class & most businesses in KL have just started their engines & it's the weekend again......

Strange that the whole Muslim country grinds to a halt when it's CNY.

Damn I didn't do any Engelbert!! he & Tom are more my forté than my poor ABBA effort, although your work on the sticks would have made all the difference 

    thanks Derek!

Tim, I'm planning to go for a Stage 1 remap within the next couple of weeks. There are a ton of tuning houses for VW, and I've read that many Stage 1 tunes are similar, so the verdict's still out. After our E22 run, I paid a visit to Eurohaus and Horizon Auto Tuners (HAT) at Kaki Bukit and took a spin in their cars. The difference that Stage 1 makes is pretty pronounced.

Anyway, Eurohaus does Oettinger, HAT does MTM and Autovox at Tagore does ABT. In addition, each workshop provides their own custom tunes. There are also individuals who provide their own tunes. As you can see, the variety is pretty killer! In the end though, I'm looking for something affordable. This is what I've been offered so far:

    $2200 for Oettinger Stage 1
    $2011 for MTM Stage 1
    $1600 for Eurohaus Stage 1
    $1200 for HAT Stage 1
    $1200 for Hansonn's Stage 1

I'm also gonna pick up a few handling mods: rear anti-roll bar, torque arm inserts etc

I still gotta chip the GTI because i won't be able to drive any supercar legally! insurance won't cover me because of my age and lack of driving experience.

btw, leang your larini-ed scud sounds much louder than my cs, i am quite sure. thanks for the ride that day! please make sure you attend on feb 26!

Daniel told me about leang's thingy and I said I'd try to check it out. My budget is pretty tight though! And I can't fathom how anything can be louder than your CS.
