So you expect me to go find all the posts for you lamenting the loss of exotics that got sold to the European continent? This is old news and it's still happening. I don't know how you missed it. There are plenty of examples just in this thread.
You are doing God's work...bless you. I get so excited (and a little envious) when I see a restoration in progress!
We' have been talking about this on the Countach thread. It has been happening for a while now. Unfortunately it is a period of a century where money is completely lop-sided. If it were the other way around, I would be buying old Lamborghinis from Europe.
Thanks, but I don't expect you to do anything for me.........maybe old news for you but I have not been around ferrarichat as long as you have to know that in the past few years cars from north America have been crossing the pond,I was just asking why.Anyways thanks for nothing, and you feel you know everything around here good for you and maybe you should take a break from this site if my questions are bothering you, because guys like me are still learning that's why I'm asking questions..... sorry again for wasting your time.
Look, this is an issue with all automobiles as well an overarching financial problem for us here in the USA. There was nothing in what I said that implied I know everything around here. FerrariChat is not the only place to become aware of this trend. I was a bit astonished that you were so uniformed on this matter. It's also not my fault that you are. The days of a strong US dollar making it easier to bring cars from Europe here, as you suggested, are long gone.
Thanks, that's all you needed to say,BTW I'm not in the USA so I'm aware about the financial problems but not to the extent as to someone who is living there....... '
Espada dudes Can someone please post a good hi res pic of this as i am deep into my interior redo and i suspect mine is not original but an original pic will prove other wise. thanks Gary 8394

Not so sure..in the last week and half I have sold my Jarama, Espada III as well as my Urraco..ALL for what have been record prices here in the USA from my searches.. They were all extremely FINE tip top condition examples..; 2 are staying in the USA..the Espada as leaving to cross the pond.
I've noticed this last weeks, that the nicest cars (Jarama, Islero, Espada) went for top prices $$$$$ or . 2011, there is a new trend : real Lambo collectors start to undertsand it is the time to buy "very good Lambo" just under 90.000 $ or 70.000 and to continue to leave the "scrapt cars" for the others dreamer only buying a price and not "a ready to go Lambo". I believe they realise it costs a lot to restore or to maintain in a very good state these expensive cars... just normal when you see that a single porsche 2.4 S or Alpine A110 make top money for a common sport car...

Hi Olivier We live in Kent and not so far from you. When our restoration is complete we must meet up for a photo shoot. Ours is all original and we have owned it since Deceber 1977. We came over to Brugge on bikes last year so I know we can do it in a day Regards lynne
