I warned you guys I was going to have alot of questions...
I have read my owners manual, and did a search...
When I arm my alarm sometimes it starts chirping continuosly, if I disarm then reset it arms normally. Yesterday I had to do this whole arm/ disarm/ arm, and when I came back out to the car 45 minutes later it was chirping continually again...
    suggestions?

Your internal battery is dying on the alarm horn. Mine was doing tis not long ago and now the alarm horn is now dead, I could care less as I don't like the chirping anyway. You can order the Bosche alarm horn for a GM Chevy C6 Corvette, it's a direct swap.

You say internal... that means the battery can not be replaced?

It can be replaced but the process is literally painful since you will have to cut the alarm's case in half to replace the batts with an outside source.

GM Chevy C6 Corvette siren alarm module is the best replacement for a direct swap (since it is much cheaper than the F parts)

I don't think 430s have this problem, but just wanted to comment I opened up the spare key to see what battery it has, and guess what? It's freaking soldered in place, so when it goes out you can be charged $875 (plus coding) for a new key. That kind of crap is what really piss me off. If battery goes out, will dremel the bracket and find a way to just change it.

It will take a long time till you actually get the alarm... it is on a backorder...
Also, be prepared to provide a VIN number of some 2005 Corvette, becuase the company will send you a form to fill out "to make sure that the part will fit your car" (as they did send it to me).

That would depend on where you order it from that they'll ask for that information....

I ordered from new GM parts .com, said they had 1 in stock, did not require VIN, I actually had a choice of providing VIN or not...
Hopefully it wont take too long. Mine still works it is just beginning to show signs of failing.

Please post the procedure to make the replacement. I looked inside the access panel in front of the windshied on the river's side (where this alarm module is located - I think - there is a hydraulic reservoir there as well) and could not identify it.

Any advice as to how to make the swap appreciated.

Are you talking about the key or the electronic fob. The battery should NOT be soldered into the fob. I have changed all of my batteries in the fobs a few times and never had any such problem.

Perhaps your battery leaked and the acid welded the battery to the terminals?

    Replacement battery is A23.

    Good luck

F430s don't have fobs. The alarm/door lock button is integrated into the key. The immobilizer doesn't automatically set like it does on the 360s.

do a search for fixing the siren... it is located in the truck behind a wall that you will remove. then a plastic file that will need to be cut at the top right to get to the siren. then duct tape the plactic, install the cover and you are done... I am waiting on photos, to see what to do (i dont like to cut stuff open unless i am sure)
