Lets just stay on topic and not let this get out of hand.
Dont bash the guy, he doesn't deserve to be called a drug user at all.

I really hope he is not. Since he is a Countach owner who is local (2min from Patrick, 25min from me and Peter C gurslo), I would like to be friendly with him.

From my experience, I can not say all is well.

PM me if you want my experience otherwise, you guy's are right, the car is the issue here.

    Love always and forever Peter

I dont think there is much to do but watch. The front of the car is still entirely burried in frozen snow. I mean the entire front end!!!.

May be the guy has health issues which could explain some of this. but it would be me, I'll get friends and family to take care of situations like that. I would not let 100K to rot in front of my house, knowing that I dont have Multi millions to spare.

The situation makes no real sense. I really think that the guy just does not take care of his properties or does not realize that winterizing the car does not mean leaving it all winter burried in frozen ice.
People usualy try to take care of their properties, being a car or a house. In this case all properties are going the CT way.

You guys are unbelievable. You have no idea what's led him to leave it out there other than the likely reason that he came into some cash, went crazy and blew it on his childhood dream and it went wrong and he's unable (for whatever reason) to fix it. He's probably not unable to go online and read this thread so don't assume that he won't read you folks calling him a crackhead just because he doesn't baby the damn thing. It's just a car - his car.

Yes, I do know led to the car being out there. It is stated earlier in the thread. Yes, about coming into cash, yes childhood dream. Cat caight fire and big snowstorm later that night led the car to be left there. <Many big storms followed but also many opportunity to get sheltered.
Dude, I suugested he come online here. He can read all my post AND we will see eachother again. I don't care if sees what "I" wrote. I'll laugh at him, he'll laugh at me. Big deal.

BUT "calling him a crackhead just because he doesn't baby the damn thing"

That's not why "I" might call him a crackhead.

Tell you what, let's leave this thread alone.

When we have something new to report, like meeting up with him or the car has been moved, we'll ressurect.

You are right, it should be left alone. Reading this thread is mental. People have mentioned busting his balls, that he spokes a crack pipe then wanting to be-friend the chap. Im sorry but there is just far too much judging going on. Its his car, his money, his land and his life.

A quick update pic I took the other day while taking my car out of hibernation from winter. I still have not run into him driving it yet though.(personally) I just got a new phone and didn't know how to zoom in, I'll take a better one next time.

gotta love the contrast of junk car on the right, faded siding on the house on the left, and then the sexiest mint pearl white exotic car ever made just caught in the middle :D

Could make for a good car movie plot :)

the car has moved a littel several times (3 i noticed). It has now been this way for 2 weeks.
Have not seen the car driven in town. To be fair, i have not seen the rusty thing on the right on the road either.
the very good news is this CT appears to start.

    What an unusual thread!

Perhaps we misunderstand American humour over here in the UK!

It would certainly brighten up my day if I had to drive past his car every day.

Lets hope the owner gets as much use out of it as people on here seem to be having of his ownership!

Ironically, the guys over on the Ford Ranger forum are just tearing their hair out over that little pickup left to rot. Priorities indeed!
