A new model? Have they ever sold any of the first run models they've been pouncing around town with for the last couple of years?

Spotted a Silver Gallardo, and a White Maserati GranTurismo last nite around Royal York/Bloor.

...Hot Blonde driving the white GT, incredible sight for my drive home. ;)

It's been a while since I chatted with him, so I can't remember how many cars Hans said have been sold here so far, but I can recall seeing a few driving around last year: a black one in Yorkville, a white one in Montreal on F1 weekend, a dark red one at one of the meets at La Paloma, etc., so yeah, they have.

I'm surprised no one posted pics from the autoshow.

Was great to see some of the exotics/classics.

    F40, Daytona, Miura, Countach.

The LP 560 Performante spyder was phenominal. The 458 was great too.

Here is a video of the exotic cars from the Auto show. The LFA was truly amazing.

Man, you guys are so lucky. That's way more than we had at the Detroit Auto show - one Ferrari, haven't had Lamborghini's in years, no Nissan. That's so awesome that you got to see classics, like the Countach LP400, Ferrari F40, 365 Daytona, ect.

I think this year's show was pretty poor. Can't have a car show w/o Porsche and the displays were crap in the exotic section; not the cars obviously. Although I didn't see anything new. Why would you bury the best stuff in the basement? No excitement this year; not worth the $20. Might be aging myself here but my highlight was KITT from Knight Rider.

I agree with you on the show. It was lucklustre.
Totally disappointed with the Consorso Exotica. No friendly dealers really talking, not interactive and not approachable.

Highlights of the show for me:

KITT was awesome. It was the only display I stayed more than 15 minutes.

Taking a picture with Byamba the Sumo Wrestling champion at the Subaru display.

Ford Focus WCR similar to Ken Block's

I couldn't make it to the show this year....on purpose! LOL

The car show really does suck nowadays, I haven't been in the last 3 years, just because of the lacklustre displays, and unfriendly atmosphere. I used to be a dedicated Toronto carshow guy, going once, maybe twice to the show during the same week, not anymore.

They put the exotics and collector stuff at the back, just to make everyone walk thru the entire show first.., (kind of like a grocery store where they keep the important stuff like milk and bread at the back purposely, and the junk like swiffers and kitchen gadgets at the front!):D

I am certain that the show still gets 200,000+ ticket sales every year, but this will steadily fall considering the cost of $20 entrance, and $20 parking.

At least you guys had exotics! I went to the Chicago autoshow for the first time and there weren't any Lamborghini's or Ferrari's there other than a customized F430 and Gallardo done by a auto shop company. There was however two giant displays for Dodge and Toyota where they had an indoor track and Porsche had a good displaying. I guess it reflects the price because the tickets were only $6

From what I've heard...the Toronto show is one of the better-produced shows in North America. Considering the amount of automotive manufacturing, and suburban-car owners in the GTA, there seems to be enough ticket sales to keep the show going.

I have been to the Tokyo Autoshow in 2009. It was even worse than this year's Toronto Autoshow.

Wow, these shows are really going downhill. The Detroit Auto show didn't have many exotics. I miss the good old days back in the 90s, they had all the best cars there!

LA and Detroit are infinitely better. Toronto remains an above-average regional show.

    Hmm.

That Bentley is at Elm and University going Southbound. Sick kids Hospital behind.

The TT is at Yonge and Dundas of course. Going East.

The Rolls is on University at Dundas going North. That is Osgoode hall in the back. And you can see the tip of the 4 Seasons 'black' building just above the ambulance :)

Funny enough these are all just minutes from OCADU. Wonder who goes there? ;):D

I live in Detroit, and it hasn't been the greatest. A lot of car companies weren't there. No Lamborghini's, one Ferrari, no Lotus, Saleen, or Nissan. I saw some of the videos from the Toronto show, and saw a whole display of Lamborghini's and also a display of classic exotic cars, like the 365 Daytona and LP400 Countach.

But I think all of the shows have their highs and lows. It's understandable with the economy.
