Tim, it shows! :D. You collecting the CS tomorrow? They are a bit short handed so I left mine there as well but not before stealing a ride in the 458 :). Somehow I prefer the more raw experience with the CS/Scud sort of car but I don't think the wifey shares my view.

But isn't that the problem with the newer cars? There is always the next new thing that draws away the passion for the existing model. Only the classic cars have the X factor to make people like us burn passion as slowly as a candle.

yes will collect tomorrow as i was held up in a long meeting this evening. sad news is they think clutch is due for renewal, apparently 50% gone. what is the recommended safe % margin before changing or do you change only when u start feeling some slippage, gear jumping to neutral etc

logically 50% gone means 50% left so only half used so why must change. iwould have thot 90% gone then consider changing

Not that I'm cheap but to me, 50% means it can easily cover many happy thousands miles for me.

I've been trying to waste the clutch of my 456 by throwing it around but it just goes on & on yet never slips but I've already have a full set on standby. Mileage is 32K km.

It is not about what you read.

It is about what we can bring to your car's load capacity. :)

Fuggg.....the cs looks fantastic!!! Not sure about the condition of the engine though. Have seen a cs running around shenton way, looks great corm far but **** box when up close. Blardy car exterior is in bad shape and interior looks like a dog's breakfast. No offense to owner.

must be mine. never been too fussed about coachwork tho i did re-do entire paintwork recently only to get it completely riddled with stone chips on just 1 drive - total waste of money. as for interior - well i like dog's breakfast:D
