"Lamborghini" long gone? i say good grief! no one needs/wants overheating suffocating brand new cars costing 3-400K. looked great in posters, but in real life likely to leave you stranded or poison you with gas/exhaust fumes :D

agree. just thinking that they were thinking: hey, this is how we see ourselves, what the 'Lambo' look is, but on the inside, this is what no Lambo has ever been. and hoping that combo will be a success. it sure won't be lacking in the performance department.

Although I'm disappointed that it isn't a bigger departure from the previous model it's still going to be the best looking Italian car on the road by a wide margin for a long time.

" That's your opinion. You say it as if it's fact?

Styling is subjective. IMO, the LP700-4 is a good looking car but, at the end of the day, it's looks like a mash-up of a Gallardo and a Reventón. In terms of styling, it's nowhere as revolutionary or innovative as the 458 Italia (or FF for that matter).

If I had to choose between a 458 Italia and LP700-4, basing my decision on looks alone, I'd take the keys to the Ferrari any day."

I now understand why Allan Lambo sold his TT G and bought a 458 instead of one of these.

    Weak Sauce...

It's just a tortured Murcielago. The real interesting stuff is underneath the body.

Ferrari and Lambo are now more exciting underneath the body...

Styling is subjective so it will vary from person to person. I do not think the LP700 is perfect but I did see it in person in the flesh at the private unveiling in December. I think the LP700 is light years ahead of the 458 in road presence! The LP700 actually looks stunning in person. After having the 458 in the market for over a year, it has not grown on me. In fact, I think that design will age faster than the F430's. Again, this is my opinion.

I like the FF but in a different way - as compared to the 612 or other 4 seat cars...

It's just odd to put that shape next to a wheel.

The wheel arches look like a bad paper cutout. I guess they were going for a bit of Bertone there, but I have to raise an eyebrow.

And the nose looks like it rear ended something.

Apart from the nose looking a bit blunted (imho, and only from some angles), I think it looks good - not mind-blowing and revolutionary, but a very nice evolution.

....It's like a Reventon face lift with side vents.... I'm reserving final judgement.

Wow, I love it. I personally wouldn't pick that color, but the car itself is beautiful. The technology they are putting into it is also pretty amazing.

    Nice work Lamborghini.

I am sure there will be others that will say they would rather stick hot pokers in their eyes than look at it, but I think they did a great job. Much better than the stuff Ferrari has been coming out with lately.

They could have pushed it a little further IMHO but way better than anything Ferrari is making these days.

From this side view you can see why they styled the mirrors the way they did, it hides the small a pillar at the front of the side window.
