2.98 for 87 in Charlottesville, Va
$3.30 here. Has been going up 2-3 cents a day for a couple of weeks. Yesterday it went from $3.19 to $3.30.
we've got this cool gas station/bar where the gas is always the cheapest, it was 3.04 then it jumped to 3.15 then dropped to 3.14 then 3.11. now it's settled at 3.09 all within the last four days.
Not as much as it will be tomorrow, I'm afraid. Once unrest starts in Saudi Arabia, get ready for lines at the pump and $5. There is supposed to actually be larger supply of gasoline in the US at the moment, which should mean a reduction in pump prices from a few weeks ago. There is an uncertainty premium ($.30 at the moment, IMO) because of the problems in the ME. Libya will probably have a disruption of production which will only drive prices higher.
Was in Los Angeles today, came across a Unocal 76 Gas station with a price on Premium fuel at $4.49 per gallon. I am paying $3.70 a gallon as of today near my home at a shell station. Anyone seeing anything higher currently?
Duh brain fart, I guess I should of used the search bar on this one; or just paid more attention to other threads. Thanks for the heads up on this thread. "hey how often should I change my belts" just a joke!
You don't see world recessions often, and that was the reason for lower prices. With world demand growing every day and supply the same at best, prices will probably continue climbing for a long time. And with all damn policitians bought out by different interest groups, guess where's the only tax both parties are going to agree on? Yep, gas tax. We haven't seen nothing yet IMO. Hope I'm wrong, but with a finite supply, I doubt it.
$3.21 regular / $3.49 premium here in Central NJ. With the current unrest in the Middle East, I expect it to increase significantly through the coming months. Crude oil has gone up ~ 11% over the past week!! Crude oil is trading at over $100/barrel on the NCF (US trading) and Brent crude is over $114/barrel (Europena trading) !!
I paid 2.99 yesterday for regular, I was in St Joseph MO, a small little town, saved me about 10 cents/gallon compared to Kansas city
$3.48 this morning, so drove by the station. I know that was only a 'feel good' thing because I'll have to buy on the way home.
$3.49 for diesel for wife's car. $3.09 for 89 octane unleaded for mine. Most stations locally are $3.14 for 87 octane tonight. They were $2.89 last weekend.
