Wanted to borrow - enclosed trailer. 24' minimum to go pick up a corvette in new jersey. I know its a long shot, but I have lots of towing experience. Will be towed by my 2009 F-450. Thanks.

I think that our friend Joe is going to be pleasantly surprised just how well a 308QV runs, particularly when she's hitting on all eight cylinders, consistently. Meanwhile, we're quietly working away on the car, getting her ready for that 80 degree day, that Joe told me will be here on March 1st...wink wink.

We all need to think positively! I just ordered my new Ferrari short sleeve polo shirt from Speed Gear. Time to put the insurance back on all those Prancing Horses...

I guess I'm always thinking positively. I never take the insurance off - just in case. However, I must admit that I almost broke down in January after the string of unrelenting snow storms. I was thisssss close to calling the insurance company.

Did I hear right? Is there a new tax proposal, among many, to levy an additional 3% 'luxury tax' on vehicles valued over 50k??

Yes. Plans are to raise taxes on everything and tax things that weren't taxed before. I saw something about a new additional surcharge on luxury items but wasn't specific ... But one of things I heard last night was additional 3% tax on vehicles over 50K.

Time to trade the 430 for a nice "Early American" that is emmissions and tax exempt!

Who voted for Malloy? What happened to his campaign promise that taxes were a last resort? Typical Democrat! That is why I vote the Republican party line (exception being Palin). We need someone like the governor in Wisconsin.

Now Joe...Please remember...the government officials we elected are poor poor people that need the extra income to support the needs of all the rest of us. I can see where taxes need to be raised. How else can they justify putting us all in a bread line. Surely someone must pay for that bread. It makes sense to make us pay for our own bread while we still can.

Joe, I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if they do away with that exemption. It sounds like they are looking to get rid of ANY exemptions

Wow that kills me...glad I have a lowly 355, surely worth less than $50k and I'd fight for that value in town hall to avoid another f'n tax. Isn't the exorbitant motor vehicle tax already enough?

apparently in addition to that they are going to tax hair cuts, clothing more than $30 and one other stupid thing I can't remember, probably air.
