Do we know yet if this car has 'normal' opening doors? It looks like they are standard side opening. Though I heard the rumors that they open in the traditional Lambo way with a slight twist. As I say do we know yet how they open ???

They still scissor open like the Countach-Diablo-Murcielago, but they angle away from the car a little bit. This allows easier access for taller folks and somehow conforms to the new regulations for access after a roll-over accident. Note in the top picture below how the man is standing between the door and the car.

You're welcome, but all I'm really doing is keeping an eye out on various sites and forums for more pics and posting them.

amazing how the doors lack of frame

I hope you understand what I mean ...
the window doesn't have a frame to hold it just like a roadster ...

Obviously this is the worst time to buy a new Lambo
when everyone knows the big thing is due a few weeks from now ....

    anyone can see that ...

besides Lambo offers just one model against Ferrari's full variety of 5 or 6 different cars
    that comparo made no sense

Hum... not sure i like that rear.

Actually, I'm still unsure about the whole car. Still look like a tune version of the Reventon/Murcielago. Too much angles here and there.

IMHO, I believe the car is stunning and great looking. The more I look at the photos, the better it gets, it has a lot of Countach, which I think was the most stunning car of its time.

yes, that is very cool, the frameless window. and that straight on rear shot...i still get this old school vibe, very cool, but it's completely 'modern' at the same time. i'd like to see a pic of that big rear wing fully raised up. just look at the cut out of that wing..a lot of real estate!

The frameless windows is a very impressive minor tweak from the Murcie/LP640. It was a bit of an eyesore, especially on the roadster with the windows down.

The access looks a little restricted judging from that shot, but i'll wait till i see a side door open shot untill i know for sure.

Perhaps this will help you understand. New Lambo sales are so weak in the US and have been for a while that Lambo dealers like the one in Greenwich, Connecticut have closed.

The Ferrari dealer in Greenwich, Connecticut is still open...

I know some people say that it's evolutionary and not really revolutionary, but hey, have you looked at Porsche's lately?? I don't hear many people complaining that the 911 looks like the previous generations. Heck, you can trace its design evolution at least 60 years all the way back to the original Beetle!

Concerning the design differences between Lamborghini and Ferrari, this is my analogy and how I see it:

Ferrari - A hot Victoria Secret model. Sexy and elegant.
Lamborghini - A hot porn star. Sexy and vulgar

Either way, I doubt it if any (straight) man would turn down a "ride" with either car or their equivalent female counterpart.

    Cheers,
    Andy

I think it looks fantastic judging from the pics. Very aggressive and very pretty IMO.
I honestly didn't expect to like it so much. I can't wait to see one in person.
