I was lucky enough to test one of my friend's F430 scuderia. I'm big porsche fan but after driving the scuderia it felt so different and I got to admit that I'm in total love.

I thought about sharing some data I gathered from the test. I didn't use the launch controller. Car was in race mode, auto. I just floored the gas peddle from stationary and let the car go.

Gas used was 93 Octane pump gas. 2/3 full
    temp was 18C
    NO LOUNCH CONTROL

    0-60mph: 5.15s IN 69.24 m
    60-130mph: 8.5s IN 384.69m
    1/4mile 12.78s AT 124.54 mph
    100-200kmh: 6.93s IN 309.02 m
    0-200kmh: 12.73s IN 397.15m

I would highly appreciate if someone has some data for compression

Sorry, no data here, but I'm sure it's out there!

Sounds like you had a great experience though and a very generous owner to lend you the car for such a good thrashing!

Those times look very slow. I've got a Scuderia and it's way faster than 5.15 to 60 without launch control. He'll, most AMG Mercs and M BMWs are faster than that.

I totally agree with you. Scud is capable of doing a lot faster 0-60. Would you share your method of launching the car. What were you using to measure your time?

AMG or M cars with same method of launching would result in low five to 6 second. I have tried a lot of cars and I have the results

Any where I can find factory numbers ?

I had an 09 Scud and your 0-60 time is not even in the ball park. Right pedal is the gas and the left is the brake.

+1 to the times. The Scud could almost do 0-60 twice in that time if it didn't have to stop :)

please understand that i was not pushing the car to the limit from zero. I didn't use any sort of launching. Car was stationary the i put on the gas peddle. I didn't even put the RPM any higher than idol.

AGAIN I KNOW THAT 0-60 IS SLOW FRO SCUD,BUT MY GOALD WAS TO MEASURE 100-200 TIMES. I have long list of cars that I tested from 100-200 and i wanted to compare the scud to the others. Most of the car i tested didn't perform good 0-60 as i didn't want to effect the car by any meaning. You all know how hard launching can effect the car.

    hope you understand my point.

Auto is not the way to test the car - you need to manually shift - manual times mean nothing

does that apply to the 100-200 as well. Saw all the 5 lights on before the car shifted in auto mode. Does it go to higher RPM in manual mode ?

The times depend on the driver. The trap speed tells you about the car's capability. Did you turn off the traction control? 125.54mph without launch control and maybe less than ideal road surface, that's still pretty fast.

traction was ON. The car didn't spin.

yes, our of all the cars i tested I only focus on trap speed and 60-130mph or 100-200. These two measure can give clear image about the power of the car with least errors i.e driver, road, tires ,,,, etc. And moreover it does not harm the car by any how.

If the Italia traps 128 ish MPH and you measured the Scud at 125.54 MPH, that's about right.
