Dealer training for the FF? Did they tell you how to bag the groceries or just how to load them in the back? What about the baby seat installation exam? Was that difficult?

I agree with you. The FF shouldn't be priced too high. After all it is meant to be used or rather abused a bit more than the standard Ferrari where owners are worried about where they park and logging to many miles.

Your dog is supposed to sit in the car... somewhere. Thats what the shooting brake concept is all about I thought.

Do 612 owners let their pets ride along? Maybe only in the wonderful Shell Ferrari commercial where a rich woman with a large poodle is about to get in to her 612 in Casino Square when an F-1 car blasts past her.

Doug- Cariad is a friend of mine. Have seen his previous cars and he is a very reliable source of information with some friends very high in FNA and Maranello circles.

No to mention that Cariad appears to be the owner of ALF.

This can only add to his credibility.

    He took it wrong ...

Like I said my neighbor ordered a FF and ... oh what the heck is rumored to be joining Ferrari's board. Not NA but Ferrari and he doesn't have the information Cariad has.

I just thought with that knowledge he should be in the OF and feel more freely to share.

Is there a front hitch option so you can tow it behind your RV?

I'm wondering if Ferrari will be entering it in Paris Dakar. I'd love to see how it does against those Touregs.

I see the FF finding a niche with corrupt dictators who are about to be overthrown.
I mean just look at Tunisia where the guy had to leave the his 2 Ferraris at home and take the limo instead.

Seats four and has cargo space for gold bullion

This is unfair to the FF crowd. I mean, if the dictator's son goes visiting the state department in a chocolate suit, what are the odds of him owning a ride dismissed by critics for being too ordinary and utilitarian.

He'll just take as much gold bullion as his Orange Lambo can hold.

    Your right ...

Nice article in the other thread

375,000 Test Car ... so much for the less than 612 base.

It will be interesting if that price slows customers down.

    Thoughts?

    Correction.
Harris quotes a POSSIBLE UK price of Pounds 230,000 which includes 20% VAT. Net in Pounds is 184,000, in USA $ equals $294,000.
UK prices net of VAT are all higher than USA base prices for all current Ferrari models, implying that FF base will be lower than the above extrapolation.

    It's not a daily drive cause it has 4wd it's a 2+2.

Aston and Porsche are dd's and are half the price.

Slow down ... well they sold 60 Sessenta's at 400k that are worth 225.

The Enzo replacement should be worth another 500.

They can count on 725 and another 275 dog lovers for sure :)

    Base is base.

I don't know about you but the last time I bought something for base was a delivery truck.

Either way add 100k plus delivery - it's not only the price that will romp the FF IMO

It's the guy pulling up in his 612 and receiving an offer of 160 for a 5,000 mile car two years old that he bought for 375k two years prior.

It's simply a very small market and no one needs 4wd hatchbacks when they have a 612 and a real dd.

You are not making sense with this, could you clarify why FF with 2+2 and 4WD is not a possible daily driver?
If that car with only reasonable and necessary options has MSRP at or under $350k (in US) then it would be a perfect daily driver for myself, being not much more expensive then the Bentley SS that I already planned to get anyway.

Yept ... I have posted the reason enough, so why not one more time :)

A business man or woman is not going to shove clients in a back seat of a 2+2.

Dinner with friends Sat night - if you tell me that your wife best friends dressed to the 9's
are going to get in that back seat - let alone get out in a dress ... then this car is for you.

In the event 4WD is necessary for someone to make it to work - I highly doubt they grab the key to the FF and head out on the roads with salt and snow in their 300k plus Ferrari.

I don't know anyone who would not need a real daily driver while owning the FF.

So it is my opinion - the FF is not replacing anything, just a supplemental joy.

Best of luck with either way you go ...
