If you were blindfolded, would you be able to tell the difference between Qdoba and Chipotle?

Ah.... Qdoba - the sister division of Jack in the Box. Now if only Burger King
would start a "Mexican" chain too...

    :)

As long as I can get a pablano pesto burrito with black beans, quac, cheese and hot salsa with a side of salsa verde, I don't care what you call either of them.

I pronounce it "heaven". Chipotle Burritios are one of m favorite things

    Here's How I like mine:

    Medium rice
    Chicken
    Fajita Mix
    Mild AND medium sauce
    a little sour cream
    lettuce
    cheese.

I can eat 2 at one sitting and I was going 2 - 3 times a week until December. Since then, I've been on a diet trying to lose the 15 lbs I gained in the last couple years from them.

But its was totally worth it.

First time I've heard someone admit they prefer being wrong. :D
Big taste difference indeed but I prefer chipotle (I also like saying chipottle). Steak burrito, extra rice, no beans, sour cream, corn salsa, cheese, lettuce.

McDonalds sold all of its shares in 2006.

I prefer Qdoba's queso. Chipotle is kinda bland IMO unless you pour on the hot sauce.

didn't realize MCD had sold its stake in Chipotle. (didn't even realize it had been spun off!)

Today I added chipotle to my ketchup. It was great. A few weeks ago I made mac n cheese with chipotle and smoked cheddar. It too was awesome!

Anyone know any good chipotle recipes? I only have the powder.

thank goodness. I love Chipotle as it is now. Had McDonalds stuck its greasy oversized hand in it, I would be a blimp by now!

Mix it with butter and you have tons of options, put it on pretty much any vegetable, tuna salad, etc. It goes well with too many things to think of. I made baked kale chips tonight (see my thread in the drink, smoke, food forum) and the next batch later this week will have chipotle powder on it.

YES!! Freebirds is a Texas thing though. I tried arguing that point with some friends and realized it was pointless as they've never heard of it.

BTW. Chipotle has a BOGO (Buy one get one) deal going on right now.

Nope. I looked it up and saw it was mainly in the perimeter of Houston and one was further out.

    No problem :)

Is she the one that does the french cooking show? Yeah she is gorgeous! She may be replacing Giada as my new favorite!!

Oh and why is it that nobody here seems to know that chipotle is actually the name of a type of pepper not just the name of a cheezy mexican food chain?? And chipotle in adobo added to a homemade salsa give it a very different taste and level of heat!
