Hi, Just to update I'm still looking for a reasonable 365 GT4 2+2' , at a reasonable price. . . . Please, and again not red, thank you, best if in the Uk but willing to travel Great one in Scotland ( thank you.) but a little out of my money . Any info please, many thanks, Stephn.
Good luck with your search!! Do remember- purchase price is usually the inverse of total ownership cost.
Hi Stephen, have you looked at this one . its in Lincolnshire, i don't know anything about it though the lights are wrong! http://www.kelsport.net/sales/details.asp?StockID=3289
Hello Pyford As far as I know (which isnt much!!!!) I think the UK RHD spec cars arrived with orange indicators as opposed to all clear euro models also 412 did away with the orange part so you may find lights are original. Regards Alastair
Hi Alastair , I thought 365s all have 6 lights, this ones only got 4. did you see my PM i sent the other day?
A handful of late 365 GT/4s had 4 rear lights. The seller seems very knowledgable... Not. Same running gear as a Boxer? Aidan
There's another 400i on Pistonheads, this time from a dealer up north, maybe worth looking at... I take it the manual one you had a look at needed too much work?
between you and me Eric ;-) I had an offer for the 400i manual accepted! (gulp) just arranging everything before picking it up. I thought i'd wait till then beofre posting
True, our very own fellow FChatter Erik (Judge4RE)'s 365 has the 4 lights instead of 6 and he possibly knows how many came that way. He may not be posting frequently for the time being as he and his wife are occupied with their new baby.
a handfull of 365s were built after the introduction of the first 400A (19353). Maybe as a alternative for the manual gearbox fans? From what I found in the serial database the 400 5-speeds were not available before serial 20xxx. So basically a 4 rear light 365 is a 400 with a shorter stroke engine
