Just realized, I need the location measured in inches or cm., of the front hood, engine lid, trunk lid, light switch locations and sheet-metal bracket shapes, for an "L" series. I am aware of which side of the car they go on, but my car lacks any clues, as they were all ground off by the "usual suspects"... Fortunately, I do have the 3 light assemblies, particularly the real strange one for the engine bay.
Photos would be great in close detail, as the ones that are available on other cars, are more of a generic sort of view, and are way too small...
These are the small details that are holding me back on getting closer to painting time.

    Thank you.
    Regards, Alberto`

    Ciao Alberto!

Sorry, it takes a little time, but here you are.
(just a few pics here, sent you some more by e-mail)

    Best regards

Does anybody know of a source for the engine bay light assembly shown in the first picture? Original or repro, doesn't matter. This is the first good picture I've seen of that light.

Thank you Götz! Now I can finally get things going.
Is the bracket for the switch under the front hood welded on ?
    I have seen other L series and 206 with rivets (2 & 3)...

    Regards, Alberto

Alberto, based on Matthias' comment, if you find a way to fabricate that engine light assembly, you might find buyers for it (besides me)!

Ron, I managed to find one by mistake, sold to me by "experts" that were not quite sure, as on the Scaglietti catalog, it looks even stranger than in real life...
It is an insanely oddball part that fits in an LSD trip.
I will show it to a friend that is in the plastics business and see what he thinks, although I doubt it, as the switch is thermally assembled.
If someone had a junk sample, as I seriously will not open mine up :)

The way I see it, it is welted on (better to say "under") the gutter, but you are much more specialized in metal works than me.

BTW: Will also take one or two of that engine light if your friend that is in the plastics business will find a way to reproduce it.

Is this switch only for the L series or do the M and E series cars also use them?

If you're referring to the engine bracket/light, I believe I recall Matthias saying that it was only on L and at least a portion (maybe all?) of M. My M-Series (#01712) has the engine bracket.

OK Ron, I'll find out. I know Matthias is a known factor in switches, ans so would be Götz ;-)
I am also certain that the ebay 206 is probably missing his?
