I am having trouble finding the right alignment when reconnecting the Shift linkage rod to the Transmission. What is the correct process to get this aligned properly? Thanks again, Bill. #43 in the image below:

    Dear Ferraristi,

Do a search on Testarossa clutch by me. I have a full explaination from Rifledriver on it. He and Tom Tbakwoskey walked me through it. It's very time consuming and a super sensitive adjustment.

    Gee...if we had a Testarossa tech sticky...just sayin' ... :/

    Shamile,

Looks very similar to a 308. If so, it can be done in about 15-25 minutes if you have the tranny pan off so you can see what you are doing and an assistant.

Doing it alone would take considerably longer becuase you would have to check each adjustment no matter how slight.

A shift lever centering block would make the task much easier if one works on the TR like the 308. Then your assistant need is pretty much negated. I just aligned it and tightened it all up using the "2nd-3rd-Neutral" procedure using my calibrated eyeballs. Not nearly as easy but that is all I had.
