    Hi everyone,

Unfortunately i haven't bought my own Ferrari yet but i am renting one for my boyfriends birthday. Where should we go for driving? Best roads, best scenery, no policeman? :) we live in Manhattan. I thought the best places should be in Upstate. Any good restaurant recommendations?

    Thank you sooo much.

Palisades Parkway North - jump into Harriman State Park...Up 9, past West Point....Rt 218.

Even better is Sussex County NJ....Find any County Route (Blue sign with gold letters/numbers) - and have at it...650, 565, 615, 550...They're all good...Then take rt 23 over past High Point state park, head through Port Jervis, NY, up past Hawks Nest, and wrap around 42/43; head back home...That should get you your moneys worth out of the rental.

Head about an hour north up the Taconic Parkway into Duchess County. From there, pick any road with a county route # - they're little blue signs w.yellow route #s. Those roads are outstanding, w.great scenery. Some suggested Co. Rt #s:
    20. 21, 29, 62, 69

Be careful up there, roads are crawling with revenue generators, also known as LEO, beautiful roads to drive, pretty scenery, nice twisties, but could cost a whole lot more than the price of a rental!!
