I just got a letter from Zagames announcing they've now got Audi Centre Melbourne, Richmond and Skoda. According to the footer of their letter, that's now Audi, Ferrari, Maserati, Citroen, Alfa Romeo, Fiat, Morgan, Lotus and Skoda. I think they're slowly taking over the world.
He mustn't have much to do today. However, I do agree with most of the article's content. I think jealousy is the operative word. Maybe envy.
right...which doesn't make it old news does it? just cos YOU knew? To everyone except BZ and his confidante, you, it's news today.
I had a coffee at Zagames. This was a few years ago when we had the Tassy Rally. Sent my 355 GTS to them via road transport, asked them to detail it, they sent it somewhere and the idiot pressure washed the engine bay, turned all the black shiny engine parts a dull grey, got water in a spark plug socket so was missing intermittently, they told me it was a valve problem and asked me to leave it so they could repair it, I took it away to another mechanic, he removed all the plugs, cleaned the water out of the one that was causing the short/miss and low and behold my car was working again. I was pissed off, I waited in Zagames showroom drinking coffee for hours and all they could do was blame someone else plus give me a Bulls88t diagnosis. It took me about 3 hrs to get the engine bay back to what it looked like from the dull chalk board look. Also someone added 2 kl to the speedo which did not impress me at all.
Just read this comparison from an owner of an ex F40 and current 288 GTO owner. Makes for interesting reading and it had me salivating at the thought of how lucky it would be to own both cars at least once in your life.
Interesting read, with really no surprises. Thats about how I expect the two to compare. I'd be happy with a 288 on its todd. One of the most beautiful cars ever made
Although I'm not a fan of Japanese cars, I thought I some might be interested in this. http://www.autoblog.com/2011/03/02/report-mitsubishi-official-says-evo-franchise-is-dead/
