    For the past few nights I've had the pleasure of being woken up at 1am to this sound of this flying rat bastard. It sat out my bedroom window singing until about 3am, the thing made me crash on the couch on the other side of the house & oversleep. It stopped by to bug me some more while remodeling the house this afternoon. Not sure what kind it is (maybe a mockingbird) but it sure is extremely annoying.

    A pellet pistol would work but if you're one of those tree hugging types, you could try hanging a pie tin in the tree... but not sure that would work at night.

    I feel your pain! There is a bird that that performs one single chorus outside my window every morning around 5am and then stops, it's starting too piss off my cat aswell.

    Damn thing was back last night again, I was told it is a mockingbird which is the State bird of Texas so this has immunity from a pellet gun. I've got two cats but they are completely useless. No front claws & one of them don't like going outside. Besides, they spent most of their lives as indoor cats so I don't think they have any hunting instincts for what to do with a bird even if they caught one. I read that a plastic owl decoy might scare it off, but know how well those things work.

    I can hear a mockingbird out side right now. I enjoy them and fortunately can tune out the singing.

    Crows love to hangout in the pine trees outside my bedroom window. Thankfully not during the night, but during the day, omg I want to kill them.

    I have a wood pecker in my back yard that has decided to switch from 1st and 2nd shift to 3rd shift. If he doesn't switch back to 1st or 2nd shift soon, a pellet gun may be purchased soon.
