Joe, were there any similar "blueprint style images" made for the Anniversary model, and are they available?

Great, yesterday I did the same with my car, after 4 month in the garage it started immediately and it was a great pleasure to drive 1,5 hours.

Again there doesn't seem to be a massive difference between the cars. I'd always thought the Lambo to be huge and the Ferrari to be small. And that's how the memory can be such an unreliable beast!

When you see them the 328 is a about 1/4 narrower visually. Length is the same. Compared to some of the newer Ferraris eg 599 they seem narrow!
Just thought would see how they looked side by side

I was 13 when I attended the the Earls Court Motor Show in 1973, the highlight of the show was the green Countach on the Lamborghini stand making its UK debut. I understand this was the first production Countach and was originally displayed at Geneva when it was Red, it was repainted green for the Paris Salon and then displayed at the Earls Court show. Does anyone have any photo's of it at Earls Court in 1973? Lastly is this the car displayed in the Lamborghini museum?

That's the Museo car, correct. There are pics earlier in this thread of it at Earl's Court in 1973.

The Urraco has exactly the same wheel base as LP400/500 and is also longer and taller.

    Hi
here is a very edited video of my car on the run last sunday in the western parts of Scotland.

    [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wqbRVa8RgZA[/ame]

Luckily the young passenger who took it had the sense to curtail some of the more interesting bits!

    Hope you enjoy it.
For those in the US. We drive on the correct side of the road and the water on the windscreen is called rain!
Not the absence of 'sun visors' whatever they are or are used for! I live in Scotland!!

Can you explain what you mean about the early Countach bodies are poor relative to later cars? Some details would be interesting to me. Thanks

BTW that is a fascinating display of an early car with its "skin" alongside!

Well, the glove-box damper in my LP400 was...a peace of crudedly cutted wood covered with plactic "mousepath"!

When the door was closed you could see a little of the street between the door and the front fender!

The distance between my rear left light and the outer skin of the rear fender was 2 cm bigger than on the right side.

When it rained water came in from the front screen frame left of the rear mirror.

But ...gee....I loved that car and still miss it!

    Ciao!
    Walter
