Few summer back there was a red LM at barringtons concourse de elegance. I would like to talk to some one local who has one. Please PM me David
Who in Chicagoland got one? Someone in the Lambo club got to have one? Just want to ask a few questions, don't be shy now David
We have one but we are not local. I have also worked on them quite a bit, both carbed and FI models. What do you need to know?
I saw one last summer at a Supercar Saturday. Before the show was unexpectedly pulled from the Glen. Silver or grey as I recall . So there is at least one local owner out here somewhere. Good Luck.
That's the one I was referring to. David, just call autowerks. And if you don't want to do that, you could ask Carla (let me know if you need her email address). Alternatively there is the president of the Lambo club USA (I know him and have his email address). There was a LM2 in the Lambo calendar I made for the Lambo club a few years ago, I'm sure we could contact that owner if need be. Image Unavailable, Please Login
That one is carburetted so it is pretty different than the one he is looking at. It also has the ugliest front bumper I have ever seen.
Thanks guys for all the feedback. That gray one was at a repair shop by my house years ago, and is responsible for planting this seed. Andreas, I'll pm you and get the email addresses from ya. Go Project Lambo! David
Autowerks does have one... Lamborghini LM002 aka Rambo Lambo by jeremycliff, on Flickr Ferrari Testarossa & Lamborghini LM002 by jeremycliff, on Flickr There's also a shop downtown on Wabash that has a gorgeous red one in the window... not sure of the name. EDIT... I forgot this site thinks Flickr is the devil... click the links and it will bring you to the photos. Sorry it has to be so difficult.
You could subscribe with Ferrarichat and post as many pictures as you like. As for Flickr: That interface is completely counter intuitive. I had a subscription on it and worked with it for a year but never got the hang of it. It is beyond me why the interface changes dynamically while going through pictures.
It's Willow Automotive; Brian specializes on off-the-wall exotics, modified exotics, etc. He's had a few LM002s go through his shop, plus Miuras, LP400s, and just some really bizare stuff you don't see anywhere else.
