I have a customer with a 348 and wants to put 360 wheels on his car, can this be done? I have the car on the lift with the wheels on, and the offset is all wrong in the rear, he claims this can and has been done. Anyone heard of this ?
How do the 360 front rims look, if used on the 348 rear?? Maybe a call to Daniel at Ricambi America could steer you along....
It looks like they are 1.5" wider in the rear, front look like they will work. Has anybody machined the inside ? Plenty of room to move inside on the rear, they would look real nice if it can be done.
I just spent a few months researching this and I have just dropped off a set of 360 modular wheels to be put on my 348 Speciale. The rear is slightly wider than the regular cars, and the offsets are just slightly different. They are a straight bolt on from what others have told me, but I have also heard that some wheels need about 15mm milled from the rear insides to have them not come out too far. The shop is going to fit them with new tires and try them, and if needed have them milled at the machine shop so they fit properly. The biggest problem is caliper clearance, but from all I have read the 360s will fit. The f430 wheels will have the same bolt patterns and can also fit, but most are 19s and to me look a little big on the front. staggered 19R 18F seems to look right. Here is a thread just about milling the 360 wheels http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=284064&highlight=348+wheel+question Nd
