I also regret not buying a P-111 that was for sale here in the northeast of the US. It needed work but the price was not unreasonable. Those thing are rare even though they are the slowest (which does not matter to me)

yes i believe so. Outside of the 2.5 motor, rear bumper and side markers, some of the later 20xxx P111 are nearly identical to the late P300.

they may have just started as P300 and shoe horned a smog usa spec 2.5 motor to become the usa legal P111. these car differ from having P300 "square" door panels, thicker seats and metal shift gates etc... some even came with the 5 louver vented front hood. there are also detail difference with various sheet metal bits in the engine bay. What you would immediately notice is the swapped over the fuel filler from the left side of the car to the right.

    cheers

I expect to put my web site in line in a near future with all I have about tne Urraco:
    www.baby-lambo.com
I have a great interest about the body number stamped at Bertone the one that beggin by 1060 and common to all Urraco, with this number we have a complete look about the production.

    Welcom Ulf.
There's an other Urraco for parts at Eurospares, is someone know the chassis and body number of this car?
I spoke with Paolo Stanzani last year, he told me that he have an early Urraco from 1972, I wait more information about this car. I read that Grace de Monaco has also a P250 but I don't found more information about this car and don't saw it at the prince's museum.

Ulf, it will be nice to know also the body number of your car, it seems to have a lot of Urraco in sweden. Some years ago I was in contact with an owner who bought a P300 in France.

    Hi Peter, hi Eric,

Peter, nice to hear you're the owner of #15006.

Sometime ago, when the car was on sale, I downloaded all the photos available and there were some interesting things I noticed.

Besides the prototype rims that are really beautiful, also the gear knob is proto-like, since it is different from production.

Anyway, I would have some other questions about... just compare some particulars with my car.

    Eric:

    QUOTE:
"I spoke with Paolo Stanzani last year, he told me that he have an early Urraco from 1972, I wait more information about this car. "

I would be also interested to exchange informations about Urraco early production, and it should be interesting to know the # number of Mr Stanzani's Urraco.

It should be interesting to get in touch with Mr. Stanzani as well.

I'm the owner of #15000, and I'm carrying on the long restoration process, since some details are different from other production cars. Up to now I've refurbished the engine, but I need to check some more details before starting body spraying.

    Regards,

    Francesco

Recently got this old advertisement from Road and Track magazine in 1975 that Urraco fans might enjoy seeing. Granted it's a trying to make sales, and even if they were woth the same money I'd want a Miura, but it still made me smile to think they said Urraco was better than a Miura :) I love our Urraco, an want another, but would love to add a Miura

    He's not wrong.
Well the key is the "better all around". I can not say it is true because I have not driven the Miura. I can say is a a great all around car. What he has quoted is not a lie. It is better all around than my Countach, it is not faster, louder or cooler though.
