    Just some curious stats. Of course there are more Porsche internet users than Ferrari, but they are spread out across several communities where FerrariChat has about 85% of the world market share for Ferrrari. Just Porsche content, I don't know for sure, but FerrariChat.com wouldn't even be in the Top 10 although I think it is great how active this section is. I do think it is cool that FerrariChat.com is about same as RennList and well above the other major Porsche forums in activity.

    interesting stats. it does irritate me that there are so many Pcar boards, sometimes I have to go two or three places to find an answer to a question. props to Rob for making Fchat the "go-to" board for Ferrari.

    There's also 356 Registry, Early911SRegistry and others. 356 Registry is especially good for the early Porsches -- tech and authenticity info is especially good, and they are serious about vintage racing -- but the conversations are pretty "buttoned down". I've noticed that all of the earnest answers come via email.

    Their equivalent to the "Let's See Pretty Girls..." thread has 140,000 views, and the board elders get a little uneasy when someone posts pics showing bare ankles. I believe that's what makes FChat a richer community.

    My own impression is 6Speed is the mod guys who are seem young and most likely to be in the next Fast & Furious flick. Pelican is the serious old school guys and if you don't know what you're talkiing about, you better zip it there. The Porsche section here seems to span the whole thing, with those that know 356s to Carrera GT guys. I stay here for Porsche stuff about 80% of the time.

    I don't think I've visited the others.

    a few, LT is the main one in the US, there's another that split off from there, a few in that are UK/Euro-centric, etc.

    I really like how Fchat dominates the Ferrari websites. I really do not like how there are so many Porsche sites. I wish there was on goto Pcar site. It really is too much, rennlist, 986fourms, pedrosboard, planet-9, etc. Wish there was one killer Pcar site to go to...

    I tried getting on 6speed years ago(2007) and I still have not gotten that confirmation email. I had to call and talk to like 3 different people to see what the hell the prob was, apparently I have a website so with out sponsoring the site i can't even post. F-that, that's retarded I'm not using it as a place to get business, just a place to ask questions and read. I took my site off my profile...didn't work. Doesn't matter really I like this place a lot and have met tons of great people so screw em.

    name we have given to another Ferrari forum that has a few perm banned users from here, although they have perm banned a few of them too. :)

    however, there is some big forum out there like that, for all kinds of banned users from various forums. basically no rules I don't think.

    While there are a few banned memebers at F e r r a r i * * * *.com, there are also quite a few who were never banned, and choose to post there for their own reasons.

    Either way, I enjoy Ferrarichat for the variety of post, and activity. I spend too much time here. :D
