They are limited edition Ferrari wheels.

Mmmm... That's not nearly as clever and funny as I suspect someone thinks it is.

Maybe he will since Ferrari is finally making some decent cars and not all dealerships are playing the usual Ferrari BS.

personally, i don't like them. as for the price? 25k iirc. yes, it really is extortionate. however, BBS is supposedly in the process of making the 599GTO wheels (BBS FI) to fit the 458's. MUCH nicer in my opinion, and about half the cost. and those wheels are actually very very light.

The wheels are a limited run and cost $18k with the titanium lug bolts which retail for $2k. A friend of mine is getting a set but they are back ordered as of Friday.

I am waiting for the BBS F1's but they need to be TUV certified first. I havnt got an actual cost yet but did buy the bolts in anticipation of getting them one day.

thanks for the clarification Bob! still very steep for the new factory options. per the BBS'...iirc, JT was the one here on F-chat that got the set for his yellow Scud, and it looks fantastic. not to mention super light wgt. those were 10k, a bargain. prob won't be that much more expensive for the 20 inch variations to fit 458. good luck, hope you get em soon.

+1. I'm not a fan of the limited edition wheels. Sport wheels for me please! :)

I don't know Allan personally but, judging from his posts and the various pictures I've seen, he comes across as a very sad, vulgar and insecure person.

VERY interesting!!! I assume it is Avorio, which matches nicely with the red interior. It's great to see these rare colours, thanks!
