My friend has a 2007 Corvette which has scratches on his windshield(mostly from wipers). Is there anything you know that will take or at least lessen the appearance of them? He has tried toothpaste with no luck. I bragged about you guys to him so don't let me down.

Eastwood sells something called Rhodite, which is Cerium Oxide. I've used it for glass polishing.

If the scratches are microscopic you might be able to polish them out. If they're deep enough to catch your fingernail you probably can't fix it.

Wow, that Walgreens stuff gets some funky reviews. It's got 18 of them, with an average of 1.3 stars.

A trick that has been pulled on me is to use oil to fill the scratchs.
    Good till the first rain.
