I like the look of a stripe ... and just purchased a red/tan 430. I am thinking of adding a Challenge Stradale stripe, or even the scuderia 16M. I am leaning to a black carbon fiber, but also like silver/white.

Has anyone does this, or recommendations on why not to do it? It can always be peeled off with no damage to the paint, and I would have a professional apply.

Recommendations on where to buy the stripe kit, and things to consider?

I bought the same stripe for my 360 and got it prof installed (not cheap but very good quality):
    http://www.f360performanceparts.com/16mstripe.php

The installation folks told me it would be very easy to remove. I hope :)

Some folks like it and some will not. I like it on mine - that was it.

    Good luck.

Thanks Tung ... I like the look too ... so I am more looking at learning from the experiences of those that have gone before me. Could you post a pic of your car, post stripe?

    VERY nice ... thanks Tung.

I am thinking of getting different colors made, just to be different.

Personally, I like the Scuderia stripe the best. (I am not a fan of green)

Follow the scuderia stripe style but replace the center portion with carbon fibre print? That'd be nice.

Btw, has anyone tried sticker city? They have the stripes are almost half the price. Not sure about the quality though. But who cares, it's not like we're going to leave the stripes on for 3 or more years.

That looks like fangs on the Scud. Love it.

I am now leaning to black carbon fiber stripes, since my interior is carbon fiber, and the top is black.

Still shopping, but thanks for the Scud pic.

I bought a stripe for my CS last November. Can't bring myself to put it on though.

I still have yet to have anyone tell me "how easily removable they are". No big deal? or major surgery?

    Hi Jason,
Since I know you bought one of ours, let me put you out of your misery. :)
The trick is to peel it off, that means, keep the material flat to the car and pull very slowly.
Don't pull the material up and don't try to rip it off. Do it outside in the sun.
If it's cold, you can use a hairdryer to get a bit of heat into it.
If you have any residue adhesive left on the car, you can get that off with Prepsol wax & grease remover, just make sure it's 100% hydrocarbon. There are also organic glue removers available that won' damage your paint. And believe or not, one of the best is the old WD40, good for getting tar of too.
Having said that, I know our materials, if you peel it off, it is highly unlikely that there will be any adhesive left behind on the car.
Now, go and put the thing on and make us proud. :D:D:D
I doubt if you will ever want to take it off. ;)
    Ciao
    Brenden

Yes, do it, give it a shot, it won't hurt...the CS is going to feel a tad bit faster!

Use a pro to put them on and take them off. Worth the few extra dollars. My other advice, if it's not a cs don't use a cs stripe, if it's not a scud, don't use the SCID stripe, etc. Mix it up a bit so you can't be called a poser.

How does one remove the Ferrari wording logo on the rear boot lid in order to apply vinyls? Can someone please help. Thanks in advance.

Look on the inside of the lid there are 2 round clips, just take them off and if will come right off.

I also like the scuderia stripe and just may do it to my new 360. I agree with Carnut, do what YOU like with YOUR car and enjoy it.

That's the spirit. You'd only cross the line when you start putting the scuderia badge on a non scuderia. Now thats totally wrong. It's like the Hondas in my hood running around with GTR emblems aplenty. Sigh...
