Here is one of the first pics of my new garage/shop. I had started looking for offsite storage for more cars and toys, but rental rates seemed really high. So I then I started thinking about places to buy and I found this just a mile and a half from my house. It is a 4,000 ft2 warehouse that was empty and in an estate liquidation. Long term I'm hoping to really fix it up, but for now it's going to be home for the racing kart and any projects that are too big or too messy for the garage at home. Hopefully I'll have updates soon as things progress. Image Unavailable, Please Login
That looks great, we look forward to the progress pictures. You'll have enough room for a practice track in there too
I would also like to buy a warehouse for my toys incl. a photostudio, a small playground for the kids, good working light, nice soundsystem, a lounge corner with good view over the cars, preferably high up to get a good look I wish You good luck
Incredible garages here! We're closing on our first home next week so can finally contribute to this thread. Currently: http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x155/kedelbach/MKE%20home/20100516162229490466000000-o.jpg After knocking out the unfinished room in the corner it will nicely accommodate four cars and a roomy work-bench area: http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x155/kedelbach/MKE%20home/garageplanner.jpg Still deciding where to put the air compressor, hose reel, MIG welder and other tools. I'll build workbenches from reclaimed 2x4s and plywood in the walls of the 'room'. Would like to put some kind of a lift in eventually. 8' ceilings mean either scissor lift or low-rise two poster, but it wouldn't be all that hard to raise the ceiling over one of the 'bays' a few feet to allow stacking. cheers Kurt
Is that a BMW M3 GTS at the back? http://ferrarichat.com/forum/showpost.php?p=140222387&postcount=5812
Did a bit of spring cleaning today, trying to get the winter clutter out of the garage. Fortunately had NCAA hoops to keep me company. Still have some work to do, but it's getting there... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

Nice garage, very nice. Is that a regular 914? A friend of mine has a beauty which is the 6 cylinder which is set up by Porsche not VW.
too funny I'm reading this. I shipped a package via Purolator to my boss in Balzac, it is currently sitting in Chestermere as the Purolator people couldn't figure out where Balzac is. Ok FChatters, you can now snicker at the town name, BALZAC LOL Nice garage BTW. Chris (north of Toronto originally from Calgary - Springbank - and used to waterski @ Chestermere!!!)
