You know....... It's amazing what a 3 hour drive in your Ferrari, down the coast highway, along the beaches filled with people, with the top off, on a beautiful sunny California day, can do for the mind. Ah yes .......... all is right in the world again. It's days like this that make me glad I kept the ol' girl.
glad to hear that news. as a regular/daily visitor to this forum, but rarely a poster, i was sad to see you let down with your car. i own a 355 spider and really enjoy her. i am glad to see this is the case with you again. ernie, you are like a friend i have never met. through this site and your post, it is as if we are daily friends. i hate to see fiends as upset as you were. but hey, sometimes we have to vent and other times we let the top down and cruise. glad today was the second option for you. barry
Sorry but no pics Pap. I was too busy enjoying myself. I'll take her out again tomorrow and snap a couple. Thanks Barry. I too feel the same way. That we are a bunch of friends, and Fchat is the hangout.
Atta boy Ernie, Glad to hear your back on the road!! These are the stories we need to hear right now, Enjoy your ride! Cheers
WooHoo!!! That is what it is all about! This is great news. I felt so bad seeing one of the founding Brotherhood fathers having such a hard time. It was reading the posts from you guys that gave me the courage to pull the trigger on getting my 348. Having a 348 is like playing golf. After playing several holes of horrible golf, you are ready to throw your clubs in the lake and just then, you hit that one shot that feels so good and so right that all is right with the world and you love golf all over again. Below is a quote from Arnold Palmer slightly modified to our world. I think it fits very well. "Owning and driving a 348 is deceptively simple and endlessly complicated. It satisfies the soul and frustrates the intellect. It is at the same time rewarding and maddening - it is without a doubt the greatest car mankind has ever invented." ARNOLD PALMER (if he drove a Ferrari)
No joke. You guys really helped pull me through that episode. Another reason why the Brotherhood kicks ass!
That is so V E R Y profound! And believe me when I tell you how true that is! You should make that quote your signature.
That sounds good to me but I am not sure how to add a sig. I cannot seem to figure out how to do it. Help me!
That's what I want to hear, Ernie!! You better believe you made the right decision in keeping her....can't wait to those pics when you take her out again tomorrow. By the way - you don't know how lucky you are living in Cali and being able to take it out anytime of the year. We have this crap called snow, and salt all over the road, that prevent us from doing the same....this winter especially has been one of the longest ever...mine's been stored since October, and I am about one week away from getting her out for the season...needless to say, I am getting VERY impatient
Todd - you need a Rossa Subscription for a signature....either that, or with a Silver manually type it after each post
Jayzsus what a beautiful day in Socal today. Felt like mid-summer. I took the 355 down the coast and shot video...will post up if any good.
So instead of waiting until tomorrow, I decided to take a nice drive right before sunset and snap some pics for you guys. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
