I was reading an article titled "Mr. Rossi goes to Malaysia", to drive for Lotus in one of the pre race street demos. I realized it was not Valentino the article was talking about, but an American driver named Alexander.

He drives for ART in GP3. Good luck to him, and hopefully F1 will have an American driver soon. Possibly as a PR stunt to drive for Lotus in the USGP. I'm not holding my breath, though.

So just an FYI not to confuse the two.

He ran in GP2 Asia in the 09/10 winter. Having watched all the races, I must say I wasn't impressed. The opposition was very mediocre that year (the Champion, Valsecchi, who blew everyone away, sucked quite a lot in the 'proper' 2010 GP2, he only scored a couple of points and one win (at Abu Dhabi, where about 6 of the races where held for the GP2 asia series...so he was kind of bound to).

Haven't really been to impressed yet.

Probably part of Tony's strategy to secure sponsorships?
