    Hey guys... I'm staring my 1:12 126c2 Ferrari and can anyone can tell me what tamiya's red (color number) that comes close to Ferrari red in that era? Also what's the color for inside of the cockpit of a 126c2? Anyone have some color images of the 126c2 for reference that they can post? It would sure help! Thx

    The car was kind of off white from inside on each side of the cockpit, IIRC. The Tamiya color is actually exact match. It is called Italian Red TS-8. If you are going to shoot it with an airbrush, still buy the spraycan and shoot it into your mixing cup and then airbrush it. But in 1:12 scale you should be able to achieve a perfect finish straight from the can.

    Try Paint World in New Haven? Conn. I am sure they have a website. They have thousands of colors including Ferrari colors. I got the Ferrari Fly Yellow from them and it was spot on. just one man's opinion tongascrew

    If you don't want to use Tamiya colours , the right reference for the red is Fiat 120 .
