fantastic vid of the 'ring run! :)

the car seesm to have no body roll, or very little, amazing ....it also seems to not 'crash' over ruts/bumps like other cars in vid at the 'ring i've seen ....it seems to be quite composed for a focused race car

    best of continued luck!

Thanks. That would be down force which also gives us great braking. Note how little rebound in the shot where she comes out of the dip and up the hill If you subtract the GP course you get about 7:20. Unrestricted we'd have 200+ more HP and without ballast we might be a bit faster. One day we're going to see what our Ring Time could be...

It also shows you just how much trouble you can get in if you miss the line in that turn and don't stay in the banked part.

7:20 as is in current restricted form is absolutely flying. Unrestricted additional bhp would get you below 7 minutes. No doubt. Great stuff Jim

After the test session we changed the gearbox ratio's for the race. Complete service took two hours. (Including gearbox) Just like at the authorized dealers...

Wow, talking about cornering ability; any idea what G's you're pulling? (I'm sure you do, but do you want to share the figure?)

At the straights it appears that you don't get to your rev peak (somewhat difficult to jydge without a rev counter), did the gearbox change include a shorter ratio?

I am still under the impression that there is some time to be found in the gear-up changes, it appears to me that the audible load change immediately after a new cog has connected will, given time, do damage to the drivetrain too. Comparing it to earlier videos, it appears to me that it was increased rather than decreased, but maybe that is caused by the car being used for all its' worth on the full-lap video. Have you had a look at what your engine management is doing exactly during that particular period?

The shifts are manual so I'm not sure you can learn from that. The G's are......

Jim your car was using a 6 speed manual transaxle and not the Ferrari gearbox from the Scuderia?
