Lol, if you look at what time you posted the link and what time I replied................you would notice that I didnt have time to watch the full 9 mins before I made my post. I posted "I want my 9 mins back" in anticipation of that vid being crap. And it was.
Very interesting, not one E-Gear transmission in sight, despite the profile of the drivers suggesting that may be their preferred method of cog swapping.
went to see the aventador in person this afternoon, very striking car indeed. however, imo, too much gallardo in it. however, seat position is great, visibility is the same as a LP, new doors are actually NOT BAD. overall i'd buy it in heart beat, but i still think the reventon looked better. now, gotta find myself a rich wife.
front and side very much Gallardo design, especially from afar. white hides away a lot of the lines, which makes me think the color doesn't do the car justice, something bright is the way to go. and the interior ain't that great IMO.
The pics I posted a while ago. If some of you cant see any similarities to the Gallardo, then you guys need some new prescriptions for your glasses. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
A little dodgey paintshop and it looks more and more like a Gallardo! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I think with enough imagination you could say the new Maclaren looks like the 458 from certain angles or vice versa. I'm with Mark I like it and would happily have one parked in my garage. Then again I always liked the Gallardo and still do.
Lol, check yo'self before you wreck yo'self PP! I reckon the 458 does look like the McLaren and vice versa. Not a problem. As I think this new Lambo has taken a little styling from Gallardo. Again, not a problem. Im just saying. And I would also LOVE to have one in the garage, and I know Mark can, and more than likely will have one in his garage in the future.
Not likely - I'll look at the car when it gets here but I don't see myself in one. When I saw a pic of the Gallardo for the first time in 2003, I thought "I've just got to have one". I got the same feeling with the 458, but I'm not getting it with the the Venty. Probably just a timing thing. I reckon they will be a great car - for someone in the market. Which I'm not. But then I haven't seen one yet.
