bro... that just put everything into perspective. hahaha. but seriously, decided no way I'm gonna do lambo. RS was 360, lambo 560. no way I am willing to close the deal. And you are right mate, I wanna enjoy one experience at a time, and the R35 is really something....

Mate, dealt with Michael for years. He won't deal unless its at the price he wants.... he has massive holding power.... that I can assure you.

Go to Patrick at Vincar. He is genuine and actually was the guy that talked me out of the G. If he thinks the deal sucks he will make you walk away. He actually had a deal for me for a green G spyder and my RS as well but eventually convinced me of what I really wanted in a car... and he was spot on.

Yeah mate, agree. With trade in, especially something like the RS. Very few will buy in. And I mean very few. The car is too specialised. Its take it or leave it.... so you would be better off trying to sell the RS on your own.... but even then I can assure you getting anything above 400k is zero chance.

Hahahaha.... hey I'm proud of being me.... even if car dealers see rape in their eyes...

    Oh...so it plural...."geese" huh?

Yeah I think Patrick is very ok. Was talking to him about a PI. He pointed me to the Official Ferrari Used Car website and said to look thru the units there. Prices were advertised as well. Said can nego it down too. Think he can bring in a PI unit for less than 50k margin.

So be it...willing buyer willing seller. Always fun to go car shopping! Who knows, I might just end up buying a Defender 90 (and keep the RS)...something I'd always wanted too! Ha ha....

Hahah Defender is cool despite its bulky size. Have you seen the limited fire & ice edition running around? It's in burnt orange colour!

haha looks like we have similar tastes!

It will perform when off-road! Saw the fire&ice edition sent in for servicing at wearnes. It's on private car plate, not goods & commercial plates!

Hey, maybe we should do a group buy! I still have a fetish for defender & my friend sold the 110 LE without telling me, on private plate. Anyway, I testdrove the 90 few years back & after one round.....it's so dead slow that you'll think twice. Quite a fun car to dress up though & I can reg it under my company. Another good thing is that we can join the 4x4 group to go backyard driving in Malaysia.

Roy who owns the 328s have a couple of 90s as well.

There were a few registered as private plates but enormous tax to be paid due to it being diesel. Vincar brought in an anniversary 90 unit but was not allowed by LTA (IIRC the retail price was about S$150K if ok) but the agent did manage to get it for the 110 version. These have the Recaro sports seats!

There's a white 110 in KL where a sampan is always strapped on the roof!

Yeah, just 430km on it over the last 6months? It doesn't fit in anywhere unless I lose my GTC but I like the Jag, it's so calming to drive it. Easy cruiser. Anyway, no urgency. Hope it goes to a good home.

U could be right, two new gals will be quite a handful. Didn't take note on the year of your spyder though but to be honest, 360 on your RS is good price. He'll probably ask for 400 & deal for 350. Some leeway from the 560.

I tried a TD5 couple years ago and while it was slow, I was (am still) attracted to the idea of having one. Drove up a curved ramp from basement carpark in 1st gear with my foot off the gas, and it just potted its way up. No drama at all....heh heh...

Not sure if the TD5 was better than the current engines though.

    Can these be considered AECC?

That's the rugged nature of the Defender.

I think AAECC (almost almost ECC) lah haha

hahaha u boys are digging it ain't u :) It should be a vehicle for exotic roads :D

Well, among some of my duties in NS was a driver so we did have some fun doing offroads but washing it ain't so. I should've taken taken up class 4S which is trailer.

Install the foldable rear seats & you can haul 2 or 2 passengers back there. Find a 5yr old & it should be about $50k now.
