    Hey guys,

I was giving it some consideration about purchasing a 1:18 F10 Fernando Alonso 800th race F1 car from F1 Creations and yes they are very expensive... about $535 for a copy and I wanted to know what makes them special to justify the cost of them? I know they use a hot wheels F10 car as a donnor car and I know they make their own risen bodies but how's the overall quality, the detail, and the paint on their cars? Can anyone who has purchase them Please share their experience and provide some feedback before but I make that big decision of spending tons of money for one, so I'm looking for your honest opinion. Also I'm surprised that Hotwheels didn't do a special 800th race version or will they? ... and anyone knows a manufacture who makes a water soluble decal of the 800th race for the hotwheel F10 Ferrari? Thx

I'm curious as well, as I have been debating on getting an F2007 from them.

I believe PAT30 could answer this. I think he has few of them that he showed on here. Look for his collection.

Yep... I saw them... But they look like a standard version F1 Ferrari from hot wheels, no side-to-side comparison and it's hard to tell or see the small details on this F1 Creations Ferraris... And maybe PAT30 can tell us the difference between the two F10s (hot wheels vs F1 Creations)

Well, if you can't see the differences for 6 times the price, then I think you have answered your own question, whether it is worth it or no. No?

Well I would like to see a side-by-side comparison of a f10 to actually see the details between the two... I'm still not jazzed about the price but I still would like to add the 800th race version of the F10 in my collection.

Why don't you get the decals and covert it yourself. With some photoetched parts (bolt heads etc.) there is no way the whole project would end up costing you more than $150 including the model. I have seen the decals on e-bay before and I am sure that you can find them.

I looked at a bunch of pics of these things last night. While they are nice, they are not worth $500+. Plus some of the ones I looked at had obvious problems....

By problems I meant decals on crooked, some paint issues and things of that nature. The builds just didn't all look "clean" to me.

yep... Went to this website pattosplace.com and I didn't like how the decals are made. it's apparent that this person prints out decals on his printer but you have to apply a clear coat to prevent them the ink from running when they are dipped in water... I try to print my own using this same method with no success.

Sorry I'm very busy and I have not seen your discussion.

I think there is some confusion between models that have just been upgraded by F1Créations and others created by F1Créations where there are only the original rims ...
There are two price levels (approximatively 150€ and 350€).

    I have 16 cars passed in their hands (2 x F12004 / 2 x F1 2005 / 2 x F1 2006 / 2 x F1 2007 / 3 x F1 2008 / 4 x F1 2009 / 1 F1 2010 and I wait for 800° GP) and I will explain better next week.

P.S.: Sometimes you can see some defaults that may be the original ones of the base.
    Nobody's perfect...

Hello PAT30... Are you able to show a side-by-side comparison between a standard Howheels version vs. F1Creation? I think some of us would like to see the difference between the two cars... Thx

    Hello BLACK HORSE,
    No, I'm not.
Because since 2004 all my models have been upgraded by F1Création and I sold my standard versions and for the years before I have the standard HotWheels versions but not F1 Création...
