The Exotics at Redmond Town Center Thread

Well, it's looking like 70% chance of rain on Saturday and there is a 70% chance they will be right. So, no E@RTC this coming Saturday. This means you can put the electric undies away for another week.

Let's hope for good weather next Saturday...and the one after that...and so on.

 

Exotics at Redmond Town Center is cancelled for March 12 due to a high probability of condensation of atmospheric water vapor resulting in a less than a desirable outcome for proper automotive display and mutual interest commingling in a confined outdoor environment. This is government-speak for it's going to f***** rain and it will suck standing around in a parking lot.

Two words: SLEEP IN! (Or for those subject to an automatic yard pass weather revocation, enjoy the "Honey-do" list instead. )

Ferrari Club is putting on their annual Dyno Days at the CarConnection in Kirkland. Contact Gary Reid if you want to dyno your car for bragging rights. Festivities begin at 9. I'll be running the SV at 10:45 or so.

By the way, the Parking Thugs have adopted the Honey Badger as their official mascot. Ask Randall why...

It's looking like we're on for Exotics at Redmond Town Center for Saturday, March 19 at 9:00 AM. Sorry for the late post. There is still a small chance we could be rained out. There are two different forecasts that morning because of a low offshore that will send in waves of rain at some point. We will keep updating this page for any late-breaking changes, but right now, it's looking like we're on!

Please check back here before heading to RTC in the morning. The weather reports keep changing and we may end up with rain. We hope to call it later tonight if the reports begin to converge a little more. Please tell others so they don't waste their time coming out if we're rained out.

 

We decided to cancel tomorrow because of the weather. Hope to see you all next week! It was a close call, but we just got the weather report and it's not looking so good for the morning.

Hi Everyone- This week the weather folks all agree that it's likely going to rain on Saturday. The average is 50% for the three forecasts.

To explain last week. Even though it was nice south of Redmond, the streets were wet. The average of the three forecasts was over 30% at 6:00 AM which is our bar for calling off the event. It has to trend better than that, and even though Saturday turned out to be a nice day, we're blaming them for calling it wrong. It did pour just north of Woodinville, but it never moved south.

Next week Saturday is the UW Red Square car show right after E@RTC. Hope you can all come out for that.

I believe the FCA has a Tech Session secheduled at Ferrari of Seattle!

 

Correct! 10am Saturday is the tech session at Ferrari of Seattle. My 16M will be on display - either on a lift or on the ground to demo the Novitec hydraulic lift I recently had installed - along with many others.

 

Sorry we have to cancel E@RTC once again because of rain. This is by far our longest stretch of weather cancellations to date. Hope to see you all next Saturday! Come on, it can’t rain EVERY Saturday...can it?

Hi Everyone! We ON for Exotics at Redmond Town Center!!!!

Looks like we will have an okay day on Saturday. It will be overcast 20% chance of sprinkle in the foothills and outlying areas so we're ON! It's been SEVEN weeks since our last E@RTC!!! SEVEN WEEKS!

 

How can it be? First sunny Saturday in 7 weeks and I'll be out of town!

 

E@RTC is 100% on.
