Steve, they're letting me and my Viper in, so you're good! Copy and paste the list, and add your name.
Hello, you all have been busy! I've seen the Mcycles at the Union Hotel, but there is a separate "Tavern." I assumed that it was their hang out and the restaurant was for people with 3 or more wheels. I was going to eat there Saturday afternoon just to check before making a final decision. The drive will start with the first part of "Frosty Balls" part going West and North and then zig-zag over to Lancaster County. Lots of winding roads and few if any bicycles. That is why I was looking for a restaurant somewhere in Lancaster or Cecil Counties. I can get us to Chesapeake City, but there will be a bit of town traffic getting through Elkton and over the canal. If no one minds the last part being "busy" the Chesapeake Inn looks good. Especially the reserved parking part; a mini car show! I hope to check the first half of the route this Saturday and, hopefully, find a suitable mid-drive rest stop. Having 15 - 20 exotic cars pull over and everyone running into the bushes doesn't seem dignified somehow.
Noted. Wesley's is a possibility. We should arrive after the lunch crowd, so parking will not be a problem. http://www.wesleysrestaurant.com/ Hmmm, that red ferrari on the left seems vaguely familiar. Image Unavailable, Please Login

I will do whatever , but in my past life as a Boat Captain, I had my boat on the Bohemia River for 10+ years and always had a great time at The Taproom or the Chesapeake Inn. I remember the place before it was the Chesapeake Inn and the fire. The town was pretty cool as well, very low key and also very small. Great memories but now I have new ones. Long Live the Spring Run !!
Still working out the details, but it starts with the beginning of the Fall rally and then there is a new section that connects to part of the Spring rally. Lancaster Co. has some fantastic back roads and BobC. knows them all. I hope to check new section this Saturday after C&C.
Bob, every time I read this it sounds better. Contact the owner and confirm the reserved parking. I'll work on the route to there. If you have a preferred route through/around Elkton please let me know.
Don & Bob, Just want to publicly thank you for taking the reigns on this. I know how much work it is and all of us really appreciate all of your time and effort. I am really looking forward to it!
I want to thank you guys as well. I am an officer in my truck club, and as such, I am involved in planning and presenting our semi-annual spring and fall dyno events and shows. I know first hand that planning events like this can be a PITA. I'm looking forward to this. I may have to cut out of the second part of the drive a bit early, but this should be alot of fun, and a nice mix of cars. Let's hope we have a decent weather day. Scott
Hopeful my schedule will get me freed up by this date - hopefully the Speedster won't be too slow to keep up.......
In the interest of Truth, Justice and Kindness to Animals this photo should have a warning sign. Thank you. Image Unavailable, Please Login
The Route Instructions are ready for the pre-check. Saturday after C&C if the weather isn't too awful.
Donald, Could you PM me the route? I won't be at C&C Saturday and I want to know exactly where we're going. Thanks Anthony
Anthony, Don't take it personally, but usually the route is not PM'd until a couple of days before the event. I don't know if Don's policy will differ, but in the past the route has apparently been inadvertently leaked and certain members of our fine police force have been conveniently stationed along the route.
