Rob, that was fun. Good review of the races. Some nice close, but safe racing. Two good starts it looked like.

Great driving had me on my toes the whole race. Glad to see other people are driving 355 challenges. I have some nice vids of us side by side in the second race going into turn 2 and 3 i will post them when i get a chance. Not sure if u were using hoosiers during the race if so did u find them to loose alot of grip mid way through the race?

Onofrio, great racing! that's what it's all about.

I have been on the Hoosier slicks for a couple years now. At Sebring I never experienced them going off except just a little 2nd race on Friday which would have been their 5th cycle. They were just barely showing signs of going off though.

My experience with the Hoosiers over Pirellis is their 1st cycle isn't the hot flier like Pirelli, but then they are more consistent and last more cycles. I have taken these tires up to 8-10 cycles and they only go slightly off the pace.

I'm not a tire expert, but did you check pressures and temps after the race? I would be curious to hear where you started pressures cold. However, I find the Hoosier cold pressures about same as what I ran Pirellis.

Greg here in the black 355. Great driving Onofrio! The second race I lost my steering rack before turn 16 about 15 minutes into the race. That's why I pulled off the track.

Nice piece of driving there Rob. Just makes me recognize how far I have to go to reach a level like that...good news is I'm going to get some more practice next week at Chuckwalla Valley Raceway. :)

i didnt get a chance to get a heat cycle in for the race because they were new. the pressures cold were at 22psi, hot was about 28 to 29psi. seems like you really like the hoosiers, i used a few sets of michelins which i fell in love with so every other tire seems okay to me.

Great racing Rob- one of these races I will hopefully be less of a back-marker! Such a great experience being at Sebring, my first visit and definitely not my last. The event was exceptional, and kudos to John for getting this whole thing on track! See you in NJ!

It really was a special couple days. Racing at the famous Sebring where great names like Fangio, Castellotti, Collins, Hill, Gurney, and Surtees won the 12 hour in Ferraris! 40 car Challenge field, awesome activities along with Celebration, and even paid a little to race! :) Hard to beat 2 days like that.

Rob, When I said I met you at Sebring, now I remember where at Sebring. That was me passing you inside the horseshoe. Thanks for the bump draft.

oh man, I was going to tell on my self to John, but as I was waiting in the building for everyone no one showed up and then I was hustled over to the podium by track already missing the presentation. :)

I'm sorry about that, I can't think of a way I could have avoided, but as they say it is always the fault of person behind! :) hopefully your car didn't get scratched, I tore off some of my brand new clear bra.
