Red F430 Spider on George St at about 9.30 tonight. Also saw a "JASSA" 4-door Phantom on the Cahill Expressway - am I stalking this guy or what?

I enjoyed a Corso Pilota day at the Will's family private track north of Sydney today, thanks to the nice people at Ferrari Maserati Sydney.

Instructors were 4 Italian guys who run the Corso Pilota at Fiorano, including Alex Fiorio, 1987 Italian Rally champ and 3rd and 2nd in the '88 and '89 WRC's. A Lancia Delta driver, we had a good chat about Lancias!

I drove California and 458. The Cal was exactly what I expected. The 458 was a revelation, what a mighty car. It is FAST, it sounds great, steers brakes and turns and is a total hoot to drive. It is capable of significant cornering g-force (seats need more hip support) and the CCB brakes are of course amazing. I loved this car.

Alex took my 17 year old son around in the Cal at the end of the session and had it sideways much of the time, with little effort. They've been in Aus for 4 weeks and done hundreds of laps with punters, but still had big smiles and a ton of enthusiasm.

yes, had an F1. He built the track because of that car. It's more like a private road though, many corners are off camber and the sight lines are poor, plus there are trees and no run off areas.

    Very good IanB! :):)

They must have improved the CCB's in the 458 since the 599 and 430 Scuderias CCB's. :D:D

Yep,you can tell by the size/amount of cobwebs growing daily.

Not forgetting the 180 MPH one thats for sale at Grenfell or the one for sale in WA on a different site, certainly a buyers market...if there are any.
