I may be one of the Shortest lived 360 owners on this forum ! so after 17 Porsches and 1 360 I now own a F430! and love it!! I need to get used to not heel toeing I automatically want to roll foot over to blip throttle! lol Guess two stupid questions ... 1.do i have to lift to up shift or should you do? 2. when at a light or stop put in neutral like a stick???? I know the sound ignorant but just curious? I will post pics soon pretty clean car!
Haha, I saw your posts Matt. How long did the 360 last!? You shouldn't have to lift at all when shifting with the 430 F1. I used to put it in neutral (360 F1) while at a light but most say it's completely unnecessary. Just keep your foot on the brake otherwise the car will beep at you.
Good for you......how would you describe the difference in performance and feel. I must admit I want to be the shortest lived 430 owner, I have big wood for the 458. Anyway.......enjoy the heck out of her......Steve
Congrats! Enjoy the new beast. No need to lift off the pedal. The F1 is smooth as silk. At the lighhs, foot on te brakes like they said above, else it will start beeping at ya.
MATT! 2 weeks, if that, eh? LOL Glad to hear you're enjoying the 430. Now go drive a 458. Really!! Ha ha.
Smart move. As I said, being a Porsche guy, the F430 is the only model that can give you the same type of performance as a Porsche. Craig
Matt, Congratulations. Hold to that F430 a few weeks, until you get the Scuderia. The Scuderia is the only car that will blow away everything Porsche you have driven (including your former trick GT2 now in my neighborhood). 1. No need to. 2. No need to either. The clutch disengages when at a near stop, or full stop. pictures?
