Due to incredibly bad weather forecast for tomorrow, we've moved the event to Sunday, Apr 17th . . . exact same schedule except 24 hours later. If you have signed up with Laura but now must cancel, PM me immediately. If you did not sign-up with Laura and now want to come, PM me immediately and I'll put you on our list so that as people cancel I'll put you in their slot.

Sunday's forecast is for a nice day - mostly sunny, 66 degrees.

This was the worst weather forecast I had ever been faced with for this event and amazingly enough, Reston Town Center and Clyde's was able to accommodate a Sunday timeframe!! This will make for a much better event!

Sorry about all the logistics changes Laura, but it is the right call!

See you Sunday (have to go to early service for Palm Sunday!)

Laura: Knowing how much work and effort it takes to do a large gathering of folks and how much effort you have put into this event in the past, I am glad you were able to make the change so that the weather would not be an issue. Your event has always been absolutely outstanding!

Bev and I are both looking forward to the event on Sunday!

Laura, thanks for all the last minute work to get it rescheduled for Sunday.

I agree about the weather forecast on Saturday.
Looks like it is going to be fairly intense storm coming our way.
My Ferrari can handle being parked in the rain - hail, on the other hand, would be too much to take.

    See everyone on Sunday.

Great work salvaging a good event. Kathie and I are already committed on Sunday and cannot make the Spring Thaw. While we are very disappointed, we strongly believe you made exactly the right decision and we really appreciate the work you did to successfully accomplish the change. We both hope the Sunday event is a grand success.

    See you next year.

    Dear Laura,
Thanks for accomodating my request and changing the date at the expense of lots of trouble that you've been through. A couple of chatters who felt that their cars won't " dissovle and melt in the rain" will now realize that the change of date request was not to accomodate just "us" but the "purpose" of the event and the spectators.
Look forward to meeting with you and see your lovely parents.

Glad the date has been changed, the weather today's supposed to be nasty: the same storm system that killed 16 people in the South since Thursday is coming here, so not just a matter of a little rain.

    I'll be there tomorrow!

I know the event "officially starts at 12:30" but what time are cars starting to arrive?

Some come as early as 11:00 but most start arriving around noonish.

Amazing day. Really regretting leaving early, but alas my wingman had to get home to babysit.

Two F40's side by side, are you kidding me?

Since no one ever takes pics of my lowly 308QV, I figured I would add one of my Ugly Mug.
Had a great time. Thanks to Laura and the entire group who put on the event!

I want to meet the owner of the black 512. I see him driving in my neighborhood all the time, but haven't had a chance to meet. I hung around his car for a bit, but didn't see anyone who acted like the owner...

The 308 looks great, not sure about the guy blocking the view though. haha

Unfortunately with the schedule change I wasn't able to come by and see the cars. I had sponsored a charity event with proceeds going to St. Jude's and felt a repsonsibility to attend. Better luck next year.

Nice guy. Sat with he and his wife outside and at lunch. They have another 308 or 328 as well, they said.

Looks like a great event, it's too bad I missed this again. I always plan on going up, but never make it.
