I see, I liked the curvy shape though the XK150 is much better but this Daimler is a saloon so it's a family car & I like the fact that it's on orig. old plate.

It's probably too slow for modern traffic though.

Probably Mel sold too many of them & the market situation has changed so much from 10yrs ago. People want their cars fast & lose interest equally fast.

Only those who are too poor to keep jumping & live in good old days like u & me admire cars like a painting. aiii, got to download wallpaper again.....at least it's free

i dun think tech wise they r up there with Fs. they r a bit more old fashion. but that also makes them cheaper to service n easier to run.

also most ppl grew up wanting to buy a F....im one of those.

but i think im stuck in mels world. which is not a bad thing....

in lambo, u deal with mel, u sell to mel, u service with mel, u basically go to bed with him. any other brand, u may hv to contend more with dealing with sales manager, service manager, n u dispose ur own cars....

i figured at this level...whether L or F or P.....few ppl get to even 75% of the cars capabilities. they r all very marginally different in terms of outright performance on road and on track...so long as u get past the looks....they r all very very close.

i grew up loving Fs....i still do. but i believe ownership of cars at these money, the very least u wanna be able to deal with minimum fuss....n i think lambos n ES has provided me with that happiness a great deal. until i can afford a 2nd exotic...i am happily stuck with hotel california.

why try going to heaven when hell has metallica, michael jackson, black sabbath.....maria ozawa....

Bud.... I do really want one, but at the same time still love the driving experience of the RS so much. I like the fact that I have the choice to take the RS or the GTR to the track and both are so different... If I had a G or a 430 I would not feel so inclined to track it and thats the problem.

I must agree that if I were to take the plunge the looks of the G just do it more for me even though they are more common than an NTUC cab. Plus have known Mel for a long, long time from back when he was selling second hand porkers and other exotics and would love to actually do business with him one day.

 

Was following an all black 599GTO yesterday with E plate... awesome to see it on the road knowing what it was. But heck.... it honestly looked no different to a basic 599 in black....

Pity he didn't wanna play....when I went passed him I realised why as I saw a sensible, mature looking gentleman (ie: didnt look like Lung). Sad that the car will never be driven in anger on the track...

Yup, saw that silver stickshift one at ES. A friend used to have it for while.

 

Would love too but am quite adverse to high mileage cars for reason of resale.

That clock can be adjusted beware of cars that have suspiciously low miles

IIRCC, for all the manual Gallardos, there's a black (DBS card car), 2x silver, Nera SE, possibly yellow/orange & then Vic's orange Lp560

Which year and color G spider are you looking for? I can check with Euro sports for you. Sometimes they have cars for sale but not listed yet as owner still thinking. There are lots of cars out there and you should not have trouble getting the color and year of your choice.
